I don't think any amount of gun control laws or restrictions stop a mass shooting like this. These shitheads are going to do this and acquire the means to do so, regardless of the laws. As @Greenday4537 just said, you think psychopaths care about laws and restrictions? Someone on one of the news channels made a good point about things like this. The scariest part is that these people hide in plain sight and are no differently than your everyday guy or gal. Just like all of us.
Look at how many of these attacks wouldn't have been stopped by gun control laws. Half the time, it's straw purchases (already illegal) or stolen guns (already illegal). You can't stop that kind of thing without getting rid of every single gun and that won't happen.
