Yepper. And the Jets could actually be tied for 1st place in the division if they can hold on here today.
BTW, the QB that should be on the team right now, is hanging 60 on Tennessee. http://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/who-would-you-draft-poll.88463/#post-3569617 http://forums.theganggreen.com/thre...n-and-watson-is-overrated.88397/#post-3566784
Whatever, dude. I like our QB right now. See if NFL Shop will refund your money on that Jets Darnold jersey you already bought.
You and Bill Walsh knew that all along, and knew better than everybody else as usual. So it was obvious to just let him go to the end of the 3rd round to nab him. You, along with Belly, prolly had Brady in the 6th round too
He averaged 152.6 yards per game, 0.92 touchdowns/0.92 interceptions. Exceptional quarterback in college? Pfft. You're grasping.
That should answer any questions about tanking. They had more than enough opportunities to let this one slip away.
I wouldn't get too carried away until we beat a team not from Florida but the media tried to make this team seem like the worst team in history (no exaggeration). It's not a good team but it's not the worst so of course with those expectations they're overachieving
Falk may be a better overall QB at this point, but he doesn't have the arm to play in the NE in the winter. I've had it with weak-armed QBs. If they can't get one (QB with a strong arm), I'd rather them build a monster OL, draft 3-4 fleet RBs, get a fleet-footed QB like Jackson who can run the ball, and play the single wing.
Sorry, but that's nonsense. There obviously are some other good players, since the Jets have won 2 of 3.
Here's a fun exercise ... who on our team would start for both the Patriots and the Falcons (last year's Super Bowl teams)?
That's what I say. I can't see these competitors playing to lose : can you imagine Jamal Adams being told, welcome to the nfl. Go out there and drop a few ints and miss some me tackles.
Stupid and very shortsighted question: Those teams are at a completely different place than we are right now in our growth arc. Try again, but harder.
Yeah well they could then lose 2 games and change your mind again. I am now just going with the flow at this point until they win a couple more games before I abandon the tank. Its very common for the Jets to then shit the bed when you start to get your hopes up.
Calm down sparky. They tried to give it away and we are talking about a Bortles led Jaguar team. They'll be back on message next week.
The waters are getting really muddy out there for getting a FQB At the same time, I've never been so entertained by a scrappy bunch of Jets... Sorry but I still have my doubts about Bowles and his Time Outs To me the the game highlight was the fake punt and our mediocre punter pulling it off!!!! Morton is coming up with some good plays...except for the McGown to Powell passing My stance on tanking is the same but dang this team is not quitting.......that said you go with the flow A very surprising season...not what I expected...not sure where all this goes We need a good young QB AND SOMEHOW HAVE TO GET HIM JMHO
You obviously miss my point, honey bunch, I'm not even expecting a winning season record. 3-months before the season kicked off I stated that this Jets team would be fun, scrappy and competitive all year long. I said 6-wins, while the majority of pro personnel directors around here were doom & gloom, expecting not only a 1-15 season or 2-14 at best, but that this would be a train wreck of epic proportions and one of the worst rosters ever assembled in league history. Might want to re-do that particular script.
