It was almost like we were playing for the tie before that pass. It's amazing how a good punter can change the game and flip the field.

Darron Lee looks like he has finally gotten his legs underneath him a little bit since coming back from injury.

Maybe someone yelled at him to stop fucking thinking and just fly around to the ball. Great play for the loss against Fournette. First 'great play' I've ever seen him complete.

Yeah, I was gonna say that. Maybe it's coming together for him and he's starting to compete now. Jenkins next?

    Great game!

I've been watching the Jets for over 40 years and that was possibly the most Jets-like game ever. But they won. The tide is turning.

Wow. I'm a dumbass. I thought this was the game thread and everyone had given up on this franchise and talking about the game today.

Damnit. I missed talking to y'all today lol. Thanks KOB for the heads up. Better late than never I guess.

The QB drafted next year. Really like the addition of Ealy and the Kearse trade. Those two moves have made the difference so far.

Would have been happy if we just won the game by 17 like we should have..it kinda feels like we won the game by default.

I effing knew it that McCown was gonna throw an interception during the last possession in the 4th quarter. Just run the damn ball, god, we got our nerves ripped for no good reason. Good win though, a very Jets-like game, but we pushed through it. Kudos to our running backs today. And Ealy, I hope he gets a little something something tonight.

Even if we lost I would've came away impressed overall. Very competitive. A lot of positives from these young players. Great schemes the past few weeks. Super fun to watch.

Two games in a row. They are showing much more already in the year than I thought I would see from them at any point this season. I realize this is the easy portion of the schedule but I'm happy we could at least beat a mid tier team in the league today. Not too bad actually.

Hope to see more competitive games like this throughout the rest of the season.

    Good win. Fun game.

Lachlan Edwards gets a game ball!!

Big pass on the fake punt and unleashes a monster punt when they needed it most

Good post. I agree. But what a kick in the nuts if the Jets lost.

I'm impressed with the scheme changes. Still like the offensive playcalling even if McClown played like his nickname indicates.

We showed a lot of 4-3 under today with essentially a 5 man front - 4 down lineman and a linebacker up on the line of scrimmage. It looks to be helping Darron Lee out a lot, especially since he looked like a fire was lit under his ass after he returned from injury.

I was extremely close to giving up on him. He lives to fight another week. Dare I say he's improving?!

Bortles sucks, but the secondary played pretty well. Didn't hear Marcus Maye's name called at all today, but that can be a good thing for a free safety.

I like how we seem to be playing the bend don't break coverage schemes. No big plays. Force them to go the full length of the field.

Ealy is a hoss. What a great pickup. He’s honestly done more then Sheldon, plus if you do extend him, it won’t be a huge deal. Him and Big Cat are the new guys you can build around.

Lee continues to improve as well...his best game as a pro. Still made some mistakes but again ya got to like the different schemes today. For example...the Jets played a 4 safety look...how about that? You can basically call adams the guy who can play any position in the back 7 of the defense now. He’s great in the box!

I also saw more traditional 3-4 defense today. Pennel, McClendon got a bit more time then usual. Wasn’t much of the OLB as Donahue, Jenkins (Who usually plays more as a run stuffer) rotated off as the other LB on the end there. Then Burris had some impact but Roberts did get hurt. All in all, nice adjustments and a good win!
