    Our remaining schedule.

    Jets 5-5
    9-7? 10-6?

    Houston
    at Green Bay
    Buffalo
    at Minnesota
    at Miami
    Oakland

What's our hardest opponent? The Vikings? We are at Minnesota for that one. I don't see Green Bay being too difficult. Even though they suck Miami always brings it.

None of them are sure things but really. All of them have losing records. For us we have a good chance to move ahead of KC and Jax. As for the Bengals.... That team is allready out of the Playoffs. They have the worst schedule for their remaining games.

    Bengals 5-5
    This is an 8-8 team.

    at Cleveland
    Baltimore
    Oakland
    at Indianapolis
    at Denver
    Pittsburgh

    Chiefs 6-4
Looks like it could be 9-7

    Denver
    at Cleveland
    Baltimore
    at San Diego
    at Oakland
    Jacksonville

    Jaguars 5-4
    My guess. 8-8 or 9-7

    New York
    at Buffalo
    at Miami
    Indianapolis
    at Tennessee
    New England
    at Kansas City

That Chiefs/Jags game is gonna be a doozy.

There's no way NE's starters rest in week 16. The only team who will be great enough to rest it's starters will be Indy. That's one good thing we have going. This is gonna go down to the wire.

We only really have two teams we have to deal with but I think it's going to be Herm Edwards' Chiefs.

So let's say we tie with the Chiefs at 9-7. I wonder what the outcome would be. No matter how you look at it yet the Jets are favored. Say what you want about Chad. He's had his great games this year as well as his bad.

10-9 gets us in - both KC and Jax will be 8-7 playing week 17 and Cincy will be 8-7 as well, I hope. If we split the division games we have a shot to be 9-6 playing Oakland.

More likely we drop 3 and end 8-8 though, losing both division games and one road game.

Miami is our toughest opponent left, they are playing very very well right now, especially on D.

We are going to be cheering for Herm and KC in week 17. If they beat Jax and it ends up in a 3-way tie between us, Jax and KC, then our loss to Jax won't matter in the tie break. If Jax beats both us and KC then they will have the tie-break wrapped up.

We got a great chance to make the playoffs with a 9-7 record but the Chiefs must beat the Jags on Week 17.

Also if we were to get 7 loses, it best be to the Vikings and Packers.

Lets also hope that the Pats dont throw there game against the Jags just to get back at the Jets because they would probably be all but locked to win the division and locked to get the 4th seed with Ravens/Chargers/Colts playing the way they are.

I think a 10-6 record will definitly get us to the playoffs and be the #6 seed. We will probably play the Ravens or Broncos... lol

Unlike us, the Chiefs and Bengals can get hot and actually start knocking off the better teams in the league. Chances are at least one of them finishes better than us. The Bengals really just need to fix their defense, and the Chiefs with Green back MIGHT be good on offense (but with Hermy, fortunately, that is questionable). I'm not very confident on getting a playoff spot this year at all. Miami is going to be really tough, as is Buffalo. We really shouldn't overlook the Texans either, they've been playing pretty well the past few weeks. The Vikings I actually think are one of our EASIER opponents coming up, along with GB especially if Favre doesn't play. We should be able to beat Oakland too. So I can see us going 3-3, but I think 4-2 is more likely and 5-1 is possible. I don't think we will win out. I think we'll range from 8-8 to 9-7, but I think we really need 11 to make the playoffs easily. 10 wins will be down to the wire.

    I'm thinking 9-7:

    Houston - W
    at Green Bay - W
    Buffalo - W
    at Minnesota - L
    at Miami - L
    Oakland - W

If we can beat Miami, then we're looking at 10-6 and the "P" word.

Our hardest game is @MIA. IMO, the easiest game is @Minn. Yes we are on the road, but look how Minn has played lately? 4 straight losses, to the niners, pats, packers, and dolphins. Key stat: The Pats beat them 31-7 and we beat the pats.

MIA is looking better, and on MNF in Miami will give us a tough game, could go either way but I see the jets winning it. Houston scares me the most to tell you truth, this team beat Jax twice, Jax destroyed us. As for GB, Buff, and Oakland, not worried at all. GB just got beat 35-0 to a team we beat, we always beat buffalo at home, and oakland just flat out sucks.

One game at a time. I've been afraid of the GB game for a while now, but our improved defense and (unfortunately) Favre's injury have allayed that fear a little bit.

Miami down here will be tough. I'd be very surprised if we won that one.

on paper we should win the rest of our games, but of course it never goes that way....hey this is our chance to see what our young team is made of.....we can all pretty much agree that at best this exact scenerio we are in right now was the best sitaution we could be in....looking at all of the other teams' scheduales i really have a feeling we make it to the playoffs because i like the chemistry of our team and our d is really starting to come along
