This is fine, I am sick of the middle class getting the short straw as well but let me ask you a question, did you check this man's track record before you voted for him? His lawsuits that he lost? People suing him and Trump losing? He maybe rich, but he's NO winner.

No disrespect, but Trump had millions of Americans fooled.

Oh well it appears we don't have a common ground here. Cops are racist as hell? Please explain why exactly? I could understand if you said cops have to much power. Give people power they will abuse it. They are intimidating when you drive down the road.

I tried to use logic in my argument and I fail to see your logic here. If cops are truly racist, then are all of us are. Cops make up all types of ethnic groups, women and men, heterosexuals and gays, and all walks of life. If we are all racist, then lets move on with our lives. How do you plan on solving unnecessary police brutality? I don't think calling cops racist is going to solve the problem. By the way you never answered my post about you being Judge and Executioner.

So who did you vote for? I am pretty sure if you voted for Clinton I would have to say what is your excuse? If you didn't vote at all, maybe you are smarter than the rest of us.

I followed this election very closely and knew all about Trump...I was rooting for him from the start mainly because of his America first ideals and the fact that he was willing to point out things that were wrong

I'm not naive enough to think he's some kind of savior and understand that he has some major faults

All things considered I still believe that he was the best choice for this country and for my personal ideals

I understand why people with ties to illegal immigration, people that have relied on the system, and people that can't look past his bluster wouldn't like him and that's their right

Don't be fooled, under the new tax plan they proposed, wed pay more. Especially single men. Remember girlfriends dont count. So we were damned no matter who got in.

There's no right answer to that, what I will tell you is I didn't want Hilary in office either, but I voted for her because she's easily the lesser of evils and wouldn't divide the country the way Trump has. The Democratic party screwed themselves by not getting a viable candidate. The Republican party screwed themselves by not getting a viable candidate.

Exactly. No matter who we voted for, we would've been screwed in some sort of way, but I knew about Trump's history and there was no way in hell I was voting for him.

I dont understand those who work manual labor jobs that voted for him. His strategy of making money was to not pay the manual laborers who did his labor. The worst part was, he wasnt even original in that strategy.

His ideals are very much questionable ... behind his BS, I am not sure if your ideals TRULY align with him but I respect your opinion just so you know. You sound like a hard working guy, but Trump is a liar and a con-artist. I obviously won't sway your opinion.

Trump outsources his jobs, but he said he's going to get jobs back here. He's a liar, whatever happened to that wall btw? We all saw the transcripts with Mexico.

American people wanted a fighter, someone different but chose the wrong guy, but hey at least the Rock is going to try and become president in 2020 hahaha

I understand many of my ideals don't align with him and he's not a great person in certain areas

Honestly I'm of the mindset that just about all politicians that make it that far have major flaws and are all corrupt in some way or another...Might as well try to find the best of the worst I guess

I do believe that he is pro America more than anyone running last year and that was good enough for me (Not just jobs but keeping out illegal immigrants and potentially bad people)

That i get. The reality is people all really want the same things, equality and less taxes essentially. But honestly, a lot of these things are also affected at the local level. I probably wouldnt be so upset about my federal tax, if my property taxes weren't sky high. So it's like, wtf do you do? Where do you fight? It overwhelms people and theres no shame in admitting that. So we look to the national stage.

Very true, the candidates were absolute crap. Should be interesting to see how the next election goes.

The way to beat Trump is to have a centrist type that can sway the people like myself in the middle that don't care about Trump's big personality and tell it like it is

If the Democrats roll out the same old SJW type that panders to their base they will lose again and wonder WTF just happened...again

Someone that actually gives a damn would help both sides as well.

If the Democrats weren't so full of themselves and let Bernie actually take the forefront, I don't think Trump would've won. I think people regardless of creed, liked what Bernie was offering.

Week the reality is the majority of us on this board fall into the middle class. So unless we all do something, we're the ones who get screwed. The problem is those who protest can do so because they have free time. Those who lobny can do so. Because they have the time. We however do not. I get it, how the fuck are you supposed to really be heard when youre too busy putting a roof over your families head?

You might be right about that...I actually liked Bernie even though I didn't agree with many of his policies, I could tell he actually cared

The way he bowed down to Hillary and the DNC after it came out that they flat out cheated him was pretty pathetic though...lost respect for him after that

I agree, I hated when he bowed down to Hilary after all of the shit he said. I guess if he was going to "bend the knee" it was going to be for Hilary.

I do "get it". Again I'm going to ask you, what was in Trump's history that suggest to you that he was in favor of the middle class? He said he was going to drain the swamp. We've heard that before, albeit in different terms. His cabinet consist of people worth billions of dollar, including the Secretary of Education, who is trying to make education profitable in the same way that you make fortune 500 companies more profitable.Great, we've heard that before. Obama was a centrist, in favor of big wall street corporations . Look at his relationship with Google. As was Hillary Clinton. What I'm saying and will continue to say is that it was extremely foolish for ANYONE to think that Trump was going to. What he campaigned on was nothing(in that regard), wildly different from what other politicians have.

Their lack of tolerance for basic human rights and the dictatorial tendency of their ruling clique didn't bother you as they spent 3 years trotting around Europe. It wasn't till they actually declared war on you that America decided to fight.
