And just was reminded that OT is only 10 minutes long now. Colts get the ball and Brissett immediately throws an INT. Cardinals in business on the 21-yard line.
Cardinals kick FG for the win. Colts 0-2 and already thinking about their strategy WRT Luck. Trade him? Tank the season and build around him?
The Colts played a lot better than most anticipated. I imagine a lot of people lost money on that game. Brissett looked decent for a guy two weeks into the offense. At least from what I've seen in the box score. Cool how the Broncos/Cowboys was delayed so we'll have a game to watch when this Jets game/all the 4PM games are over.
That was aggravating! I picked them in pick em (straight, no spread) both weeks and they totally blow it. Chargers looked so disorganized managing the clock at the end. They were lucky the Dolphins were dumb enough to call time out and bail them out. Total lack of urgency there with the clock expiring and that's not the first time. I'm never picking chargers or Bengals again. Bengals with a 4th and 4 with the game on the line and have a false start. I should have known they would bungle it up.
OBJ is active for tonight's game. I wonder if he'll be more of a decoy. A high ankle sprain is no injury to rush back from. For the Giants sake they better hope he's ready and doesn't injure himself further. Their schedule is brutal moving forward. @Philly @Tampa Bay Vs. Chargers @ Denver Vs. Seahawks They realistically could be looking at a 1-6 start. The offensive line is obviously an issue, but I think the lack of variance in the offense is a larger issue. They're widely predictable and run the most 3 receiver sets in the NFL. They did bring in two tightends and a fullback to try to solve that problem so we'll see. Joe Thomas doesn't want to move, but it'd be smart if they tried their hardest to go get him. Give the Browns a second round pick and move Flowers over to right guard or tackle. It seems like a no brainer for the Browns but they might want to do right by their six time All-Pro left tackle whom has never missed a snap. I'm not sold on McAdoo and I'm not sure why he's annointed as a possible great head coach. They've went 7 straight game so without scoring over 20 points dating back to last year and maxed out at 28 points scored. That's with a top 3 receiver in football and even more weapons this year. So much for an offensive guru... They should've signed AP and modified the offense to fit his strengths.
The Lions leading rusher last year was Theo Riddick at 357 yards and they won 9 games and made the playoffs. Lowest leading rusher for a playoff team since 1984. No question he deserved that contract.
Beautiful back shoulder throw for the touchdown. Not sure what their safety Landon Collins was doing there. Caught sleeping looking inside there.
