It doesn't bode well for the rational fans when the coach isn't any smarter than the least knowledgeable of the fan base.
I wasn't referring to that long pass play to McCoy. I've been keying in on Lee every defensive snap; he is "terrible" [say like Charles Barkley]. He may have regressed from last year, if that is possible. He may be a decent WLB in a straight 4-3 but he is a bad ILB in this defense right now.
Need him to score a TD. I benched Fournette to start him. (I'm not an idiot. I have a rule against starting rookies in week 1, burned me several years in a row.)
You really have any faith this team is converting early or late though? I'd rather know what I'm chasing sooner than later.
I have to question the competence of my HC when he doesn't have the basic knowledge of when to go for 1 or 2.
Putting aside the fact that giving up another TD in the first place is the real problem, the only upside of kicking the extra point instead of going for two, is if Bills miss an extra point. Otherwise, we still need to go for two. Now or later.
