I was there during the ceremony and to be honest I was disappointed. As to Wahlberg I thought he sucked and I think a better choice would have been Bob Socci the play by play announcer. I think having Edelman bringing out one of the trophies was a great idea. But being a Jet fan and a possible Patriot hater I could see how the whole event would sort of make you want to gag. But what most Pats fans were wishing for and never got was Goodell showing himself to the crowd. But he didn't stay long and he made sure to hide, which when I think about it makes a lot of sense.

As to you necrophilia comment I would think a 30 year old guy with a 70+ year old women would be just as creepy also. But they say that having a lot of money does make you more attractive. When I do turn 70 which is not so far away, I don't think there will be 30 year old females banging on my door unless I win the lottery.

 

I think next weeks game is going to be like a basketball game as far as the score. The Pats are not going to win the Super bowl this year so lets keep our attention of the Jets and their season here. What the Pats do shouldn't matter and if it does to you then you are suffering from envy which is one of the seven Cardinal sins.

 

Funny fact:

Dolphins stand to be #2 in the AFC East after the first week, unless Jets and Bills tie the season opener; in which case, there will be 3-way tie for the first and the lone loser. [LOL]

 

I don't envy cheaters. And yes, I enjoy watching the cheaters suffer. Especially at the ballyhooed season opener.

 

was funny, I logged onto NFL.com and I couldn't see anything immediately there about the Pats game and so I thought "did they lose?" because you know if they had won it would have been all over the site.

This Jaguars-Texans game is amazing - Jags are absolutely crushing them. Savage had a strip sack/fumble recovery TD called back as a forward pass, and then minutes later Jacksonville did it to him again anyway. Jacksonville up 19-0 at the half.
