If the Jets stick w the zone scheme the 2 falcon OTs & the Denver 1 should get a look. Likely talking about the 2 definitive ZBS teams of the NFL along w perhaps the chargers.
I agree regarding the Falcons OTs, but not the one from the Broncos. Their OL is supposedly bad, and they just traded Sambrailo who was a 2nd round pick a year or two ago to the Falcons and he was ahead of Murray on the Broncos depth chart. The other problem is if you cut players you like, you pretty much have to have your mind made up already that you're going to keep the player(s) you sign. I don't think I'd agree with cutting players they like just to bring one or both in for a "look" and then not keeping them. They'd then be scrambling to find other players unless the ones they cut hadn't been signed elsewhere.
Yeah I meant take a closer look at the scouting report/preseason film.If we can find someone who fits & familiar w zone principles all the better..that said I wouldn't blindly sign anyone just to take a look
You're probably right. Normally in a rebuilding year I'd applaud that, but we need to be able to protect the QB. At this point I don't care if he signs one who is 35, as long as he can still play at a high level, especially in pass protection.
Baccari Rambo was cut. If we add him and keep Armageddon, we'd at least sound really tough and devastating.
Pouha! Good one. Some of the others on your list suggest that we're talking about two different things. Revis? Come on. Brick? Abraham? No one was suggesting that these guys weren't NFL players.
That will be good for some fans, didn't they win their game well both of them and even with Adam Sandler as QB
Cuts Ross Martin, K Spencer Paysinger, LB Chris Harper, WR Myles White, WR Jeff Adams, OT Craig Watts, OG Jeremy Faulk, DL Brandon Barnes, TE David Rivers, DB Armageddon Draughn, DB Placed on IR Quincy Enunwa, WR Chris Gragg, TE Corey Lemonier, OLB Reserve/Non-Football Injury Jeremy Clark, CB
I can't believe that they cut Martin. He was more consistent/accurate than Catanzaro. Eff you Bowles, you moron! They also cut Chris Harper who was their best WR in TC. Unbelievable. Myles White is pretty good, but dropped too many passes. Probably any other year and Spencer Paysinger would have made the team. Just his luck the year the Jets sign him in FA, they also had signed Lemonier, Bishop, Beltré, and the light goes on for Josh Martin.
Brick was crucified on here & I even remember Francesa & Russo calling him A bust. Many felt he was a liability due to his run blocking ,lack of toughness & tendancy to be bull rushed. And yes I remember folks saying he had no business playing in the NFL. In fact I listed Brick #1 for that very reason.Hes the prime example
Ross Martin doesn't make much sense. He is young. 24 I think. Canazarro isn't old though. Guess he won the competition.
