I wonder if CLE management passes the physical on IT no matter what the doctors says. It's hard not to be concerned that he is still in rehabbing from a hip injury in last season's playoffs.
Cavs attempting to add more to the trade because of IT's hip.... Really lame tactic that can only backfire for them. No secret regarding his hip injury... If they cancel the trade they would be accepting pennies for dollars in another deal.
today was the final day to finalize the deal Cavs got Boston to add a 2020 second rounder and now the deal is complete. If I were Boston, I would've told Cleveland to kick rocks.
Now the NBA should fine the Cavs for their pathetic tactics. I hope the Celtics say something about it during the press conference, calling the Cavs out. Everyone knew IT was hurt, he was still rehabbing and that he was questionable to be ready to start the year. None of this was news. To accuse the Celtics of not being transparent when sports radio knew most of the details was pathetic. It got to a point where IT had to defend himself in the media. No wonder Lebron won't commit to Cleveland long term.
I'm not going to play a violin for the celtics. If they conceded another pick then they thought it was fair.
They had already agreed to a deal and it would've looked bad for the Celtics to not have it go through over a second rounder.
I am not sure anybody is asking for or giving sympathy. matter how it's sliced, the Cavs embarrassed themselves as an organization how they handled themselves. Giving up a 2nd round pick 3 years from now doesn't show guilt, it shows wanting to move on.
Yeah I don't really see how this was some awful tactic by the Cavaliers. They seized the opportunity to try to get another pick. It may seem scummy but it worked. Not sure if it was really worth that extra second round pick but they did squeeze something out of it.
Bump!!!! Well Ladies, what did I tell you guys about the Celtics? They were going to be difficult to stop offensively. Brown playing SG with SF size has been great choice by Stevens, allows Tatum to stay in lineup. I'm very surprised with regards to how effective they have been at rebounding, much better than I expected. IT who?
Celtics are good but Warriors showed them what's what Happy about how the Knicks are playing, some random BS rumors have LeBron coming to NY next year but I doubt it ever happens until he's 45 and Dolan pays him $35M to sit on the bench
So a cheap, dirty player being out for the year gets a post in this thread, but a dominant okc win over the cupcake coward, and his mighty warriors gets no response? Lol. This thread is too dead this year.
Totally thought D. Fox would shit on Ball last night, in reality Ball was the one with the better game ...
