You pick the glass. It doesn't matter if it's half full or half empty, as long as it's filled with a good bourbon or single-malt scotch.
Here we go again with the ankle misses. Believe me i want him to shine but this is 2 games in a row. Do u hear Carl Banks ?
i think adams will be very good... that said i think it was a huge mistake to good defense in round 1.... especially at a non premier position. if we took an edge rusher or a corner maybe. i do love adams though. he could be a 5-10 year starter.
it doesnt really matter if he was BPA and fit a need... its not an impact position. we have zero on offense. i can see leonard willams because he is a pass rusher, so thats an exception. but you cant go defense that high, after not going offense first round in years, having 0 good offensive players, and have it not be a pass rusher or corner. trade down, take a lesser player who can impact on offense, but dont take a safety.
Yes it was bpa that did fit a need. That makes utterly no sense. Safeties on today's nfl are far more valued. Jets definitely needed a revamp. Talking about what players we acquired in the past has nothing to do with that selection. That is a separate debate. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
I wanted us to go offense as well, but I definitely do not agree with the notion that Safety is not a position of impact in today's NFL.
The Snoopy Bowl is being replayed on NFLN. Landon Collins is a f'ing beast; he is all over the field. If Adams can be as good as Collins is or better, then I'll consider the pick a success even though I don't believe in drafting safeties in the top 10. That shouldn't be too much to ask since Collins was a 2nd round pick while the experts considered Adams no less than the 3rd best player in the entire draft.
Landon Collins was the top pick in the 2nd round (33rd overall). Giants moved up 7 spots trading their 2nd-round (#40), 4th-round (#108) and 7th-round (#245) picks to Tennessee.
