Can the jets consistently beat bad teams? We are staring 6 bad teams in the face, can the jets consitently beat them, going 5-1 minumum for a playoff run?
Playoffs are up in the air, Jets are unpredictable. The Jets are on a week to week basis. If we finish 5-1 we might have a shot at a WC spot. I doubt it happens though. Being realistic, we miss the playoffs in a tiebreaker.
I don' t think so.. The Jets don't have the ability to come from behind.. We can't stop the run, and we don't have a long passing game.
By 4pm on 12/31 the Jets should be at least 9-7. I think the record's either going to be 9-7 or 10-6.
Jets suck. There is no excuse for being 5-5 this year. I don't even want to hear playoffs. Even if we do make them, we will be a 1st Round Elimination.
Guys did anyone here honestly think we were gonna make the playoffs? I never saw 5-5, I barely thought wed have 5 wins at seasons end.
9-7, no playoffs and a likely tie with the hated Dolphins. Well, given where we were in training camp I'm not gonna be too disappointed. If the Dolphins only managed 8-8 I'll be overjoyed...
Dolphins are finished underachieving. They are playing for pride now and will be a problem for teams down the stretch, it's hard to admit though.
Yeah I do not expect them to lose much down the stretch. Hopefully to the Jets though. The Dolphins are doing exactly the same thing they did last year.
Their schedule is tough, though. They play at Detroit (which is usually a tough place to play at on Thanksgiving, although that hasn't been the case recently). Then they host Jacksonville and New England. Then they play at Buffalo, host the Jets, and then at Indianapolis. I am not overly impressed with their recent wins. They won a fluky game against the Bears. The Bears were amazingly sloppy with the ball that day. Then they beat a nicked up Chiefs team. Today they beat the lifeless Vikings.
Oh yeah, there is no excuse for a team that won only 4 games last year to be .500 this year. You make a lot of sense.
Bills - The Bills never beat the Jets in the meadowlands. Hell even with most of our roster on IR, we still were able to beat them last year at home. Jets win this one handily. Vikings - IMO, this is the easiest game on our schedule. The Bills, Pats, GB, hell even the niners had their way with the vikes. Dolphins - This is one of the games I'm worried about, MNF in miami could spell trouble. The games I'm most worried about, Houston and @MIA.
No way. 10-6 or 9-7. We can only afford to lose two more games naturally. I'm not sure if 9-7 will cut it. Too bad the damn Bengals and Chiefs won today.
