I don't know, to me, Hackenberg looks like McElroy lite. Whatever. What doesn't kill me makes me deader. As usual, my most telling observation is that everyone across the league needs a haircut. Catanzaro cuts the debacle to 19 - 3.

 

It doesn't matter who's back there, it's gonna be the same. They can't block anyone. Mac has put together a terrible roster.

It isn't so much love as the sad fact that he's better than Hack.

 

Petty is better than Hack. No doubt. Put him with the "1's" and it won't be as bad a trainwreck.

 

We just want to see what he can do with the 1's otherwise the 'QB competition' has devolved into;

Veteran with one drive of experience
Rookie who is NOT ready to start by any means
Additional player who hasn't really had enough reps or time with the starters.

 

You see flashes but ultimately there's just not enough at any level on our offense to feel like we can score enough points.

Yeah but he is not even better then Geno, so what's the difference.

 

For all you Defense yahoos on the GG this is what happens when you choose to load up on D draft picks while neglecting the O line

NC will say the OL candidates were not so hot this year but cmon now pick somebody please

 

Also Hack needs to perhaps stare his intended receiver down just a bit harder. There is almost a second after the snap where he's just not locked on enough.

 

Hack is the additional player who hasn't had enough reps because as I recall he got nothing last year. Let him play, let him learn.

It's like he's beyond being able to make mistakes.

 

He should be, he has more game "experience" at the moment...but no one's gonna succeed behind this line.

 

Leonard Wilkerson to the locker room with an injury. I'm sure it'll be catastrophic

 

I simply don't see 4 wins from this team regardless of who's under center...

That's the thing. If we draft a QB next year in the 1st round he's going to deal with the same issues. Great OL are rarely available in free agency.

 

Hack looks awful- but so does the line and the receivers.

Forte is only one who has looked semi decent.

 

Flashes. Yeah, usually someone wearing a trench coat.

 

I wouldn't mind it he put some resources into the OL.

It would at least give our mediocre QBs, WRs and RBs a chance.
