They don't need any cap space for this season, but next offseason his 5.7M is problematic because of all the RFAs needing to be signed (Miller, Hayes, Vessey, Skeji, plus 8 other benchwarmers). Wouldn't be surprised to see a buyout then
I've actually watched a lot of the Gagarin Cup playoffs the last 2 years, as they've been televised on the OneWorld Sports network. Been following St. Petersburg. Zaripov played for Metallurg last two years. Won the Cup two years ago, and lost in the finals last year to St. Petersburg. Really good player although he sort of disappeared in the finals last year. Think I read he's 36, so no spring chicken, but could still add value.
Looks like Jean Ratelle is going to join Ron Gilbert. matt, do you remember Ratelle scoring an opposing goal off of his forehead? How did he not die? Rangers lost. See ya later, Lord Stanley.
Not sure about camp, but pre-season starts on Sept. 18th, 8 days before the entire Jets regular season is over.
Just did a quick stat check....he's been averaging a point a game in KHL, one of the leagues top scorers. Last year in playoffs he put up 15 goals in 18 games. Experienced and clutch, I think he's a second or third line guy here. Would like to see him play with Zucc
big rule change this year, no longer allowed to take a timeout after an icing to rest gassed players. Also it's a 2 minute bench minor for challenging offside and not being right
Very nice job on the tickets this year, many unique designs for different games. Some artist put a lot of work into this Magnetic Calendar included
