He made the 2 biggest mistakes today and took away 2 chances that we had to take the lead. Just like in Cleveland, the QB had a bad game and it cost us. I know guys have bad games sometimes but today the timing of his mistakes were such that we essentially lost. The rest of the team did not play bad, but I was disappointed in decisions and throws Chad made today. Sure we weren't supposed to win today, but we could have, and really allowed the Bears to win because the opportunities they afforded us were literally given back to them.

Let's win the rest of the games we have left, if we play like we did today and cut out the mistakes, we certainly can.

He did have a bad game, but you have to give credit to Chicago's Defense...They are crazy fast and very very smart. people complain when the jets dont get respect and credit, but a lot of you are just quick to criticize and not compliment

Prediction. champ shows up tomorrow. Just a coincidence he never posted about the last game. I think it's best to avoid him tomorrow.

I give credit to an incredible Jets game plan, one of the best I have every seen on both sides of the ball. As good as Chicago's D is we had them realling in the first half and Pennnington killed us. Once the Bears got comfortable with what we were doing their D bore down, but we should have put up at least 10 in the first half.

Yeah, Chad really didn't help our cause today. Mind you, the onside kick didn't either.

He didn't play well, that's for sure.

All the penalties didn't help either.

Wasn't too happy with the playcalling this game either. THey need to take some shots down the field, and spread the defense out. The protection was good enough for the most part to do it, and that's where the Bears can be vulnerable.

You can't blame Chad in this game. The Bears dominate any QB. Sure, he played bad but so do many QB's against the Bears.

It's not a struggle because of him. I mean it would be nice if he could give us that deep threat but it is not because of him that we will struggle. When he shows up and plays well, Chad can lead us as well as any QB. Today he was bad and it cost us, but I will not generalize and say it's always him.

The bad third down call....the retarded on-sides kick call and dumb offsides penalties killed us.....Pennington def had a horrible game, but he shouldnt have to shoulder everyones shit this week. Were 5-5 with Houston ahead. Our Defense is starting to come together. Im am extremely happy with the way things are coming together. You think there arent gonna be bumps in the road? Get real....

Do you people that are insulting Chad really think we would have won with either Clemmens or Ramsey.. that would have been even worse

He is too inconsistant to be a good QB. He made two bad decisions that resulted in the two interceptions and another one that should have been intercepted and run back for a TD but was dropped by the defender. Plus he missed wide open receivers wide and high near the sidelines several times just like he did in Cleveland. Maybe his shoulder is bothering him when he throws an angle to the sidelines. How can you miss receivers so high and wide so many times.

Exactly. It's just blind stupid anger. At least be angry in an intelligent manner.

Well, there were legitimate performance issues today and Chad was the most to blame, he made the most critical errors. The onside kkick was stupid and didn;t help either, but just because the Bears make alot of QBs look bad does not mean it should be an excuse. Chad's a classy guy and will likely admit that his errors hurt us the most....but if I had to pick a second factor to blame it would certainly be the coaching decisions....going for it on 4th and 7, kicking the onside kick, and a 3rd and 10 draw in Bears territory....not good.

I completely agree with you, but it is getting close to time to recognize that it may be time to move on for this team to move ahead in the future.

Isn't that more of an indictment of our talent level than the people that point it out?

Insulting Chad? How so? Is every criticism of Chad an insult? He sucked today. That's not an insult, but a observation of what we saw. This loss is on Chad and the offense period. He's supposedly an elite QB. He should play like one against elite opposition. Right now? He's Mr. Inconsistent.

This game was winnable but we didn't. We should win out IF this team and it's QB/CS is as good as we would like to think they are. Lets see how they do against the Texans. I think we're gonna have our hands full boyz...

No cakewalk for sure next week! What we don't need is for Bad Chad to show up again.
