Pennington will NEVER WIN a big game. He is one of the most overrated players in the game. He comes up small in every big game.

Yes Chad is done. Reason we won last week was because it was a game that the tougher more rugged team overall was going to win because of the weather conditions. This was another had fought game and the winner was going to depend on the Qb that could find a way to dissect the defense with his arm. Noodle arm pennington best thing he can do is float it up and hope for a receiver to jump and get the ball.
Some people are ridiculous....you love him when he beats the Pats....You loved him when he led our team through the playoffs 2 years ago(with a bum arm)....but when he plays the best Defense in the league, he should be benched because he didnt have a good game
Thats as bad a performance by a qb that you will ever see. Those were some of the worst passes I have ever seen in my life. The receivers were turning around and looking at him like he was drunk. Lets face it...against pressure defenses with speed...Chad will never beat those teams. Those that want to throw in "what about the colts or the packers or the chargers", well, this is 2006..and this version of Chad Pennington is not a good one. Now he will go on to play the texans and put some points on the board..and all the Chad defenders will come out of the woodwork and as for another apology from the critics. Im done saying sorry to him. Today was the game we needed him to break the trend of performances like these against great defenses..and he failed...AGAIN..miserably.

I've come to the conclusion that no team will ever win a big game. You can't win a big game. If you win, you were supposed to win, no big deal. If you lose, well then it was a big game.

It depends on what your definition of win a game is. I thought last week Chad did well enough not to lose the game, but it was our defense and Barlow that really won us the game. Chad did fine as a game manager last week. This week...he didn't even manage that, he was absolutely awful. I don't think Pennington should be compared with guys like Brady, Manning (either of them), Palmer or even Roethlisberger. Heck, I think Rivers is better already. Chad's a mediocre QB, pretty much RIGHT at the middle of the pack. You're going to be a Chad fan if you're happy with that. If you want more out of your QB, you'll probably be a Chad detractor. It's kind of annoying only when the Chad fans pretend Chad's a top 10 QB, he really isn't. After games like this, sometimes you wonder if he should even be considered mediocre overall.
