Rod Smart. I always liked to think that he filched that from 'The Bride of Frankenstein', one of my favorite cinematic masterpieces of all time. "She hate me, like others . . ."
Mike Battle, Billy Joe, Bake Turner, Curley Johnson, Weeb Ewbank, Emerson Boozer, Verlon Biggs, John Little, Harry Boatswain.....
Not for nuthin', but I have to back track and give some love to #25, Joe McKnight. What a sick, unnecessary tragedy. RIP. ^Best I could find. Yes, I screamed myself into laryngitis. We're still on #23.
Forget writing his Memoirs, after Presidency over maybe Trump will buy the Jets from the Johnson's and look for a new challenge
^Yep, just Billy Joe. But, yeah, big time. There are tons of them. My boss named her rescue dog Jo Jo years back. "Jo Jo Townsell!" "Who?" "Oh, nevermind." Clark Gaines, another great one, how could you not love THAT? And now, since it's after midnight, #22, Burgess Owens, who is also on the Jets great football name list . . . "During his rookie season, Burgess Owens returned a kickoff for 82 yards for a touchdown against the Denver Broncos on October 28th, 1973. This was the Jets only TD scored on a kickoff return during the 1970s." THE ENTIRE 1970s?! What the f'ing F?! matt, please tell this is wrong. Holy Hell, FML.
The Buccaneers came into the NFL in 1976. Their first punt return for a TD was 1994. Their first kickoff return for a TD was 2007.
matt I am amazed at your ability to remember players over the years as to the game at hand. Here is another number 22, Justin Miller. He was a very disappointing cornerback (thanks Badway) but he was a damn good kick returner
