If the jets need to lose against the pats week 17 for the #1 pick they better be punting on 1st down every drive.
Unless the O Line can block long enough to allow our QB to run out the back of the end zone for the safety.....
Its very hard to go 0-16 , some very bad teams have tried and still managed a win or 2 , This Jet team under this coach sure has a chance to do it . If you are into fantasy football, don't take any Jets on your squad , this team is going to be a train wreak .PS I will say it again thank goodness I did NOT buy a cock a mammy PSL
Powell could be a decent Flex play on some days. Could be worth stashing on the bench. He along with Forte should have their careers ended by the # of carries they see this season. At least we can evaluate how well the QBs can hand the ball off.
Tony we will have to see how this plays out but I think there is a good chance we are behind early and often that we are throwing the ball a lot . Then again we have Bowels so who knows
This could be true but keep in mind the "QB s " we have still have to be able to make those short throws lol
I'm at the point where I would not be the least bit shocked if the Jets didnt win any games. I think the defense will be good enough to keep some games close, but this could be one of the worst offenses of all time.
I think we will sneak in anywhere between 2-4 wins. We were going to be bad anyways, losing Enunwa isn't a huge deal IMO. The only thing that becomes a bit murky is how does one fairly assess a young QB when he has nothing to work with around him. Don't get me wrong, I think our WR group is not bad, just inexperienced, but a young QB needs as many weapons around them to succeed. We will get to see how Aradarius Steward and Chad Hansen are made of, and hope to see ASJ and Legett emerge as dual TE threats.
What is all this talent on D you are speaking of? I can only name two players, maybe three that any other team would start.
There are 5 or 6 who could start on any team and a couple who would start on several teams. Wilkerson, Williams, Richardson, Clairborne, Adams, possibly Maye are starters in the league..
Do you realize that our starting WR's would probably get cut during preseason on about 2/3 of the other teams?
Oh come on. The only reason Adams and Maye are on that list is because of where they were drafted By that account Dee Milliner should be a starter and until Clairborne proves he can play a full season he is not a reliable starter. Wilk and Williams were the two I was thinking of. Richardson is questionable because he has taken a step backwards.
Look, I think Adams is going to be a good pro but I thought the same thing about Milliner when he was drafted. And why is a guy that was a first round pick and never stayed on the field thought to be a starter? Starters play.
One, there are not a lot of good safety's out there. Adams would start for most teams and your initial statement was any bother team. Clairborne, there is no doubting his talent. Right now he may be the best player on our team. Again, could find a lot of teams he would start for and again you said any other team. Now go ahead and move the goal post,I'll wait
I think a better question would be whether or not the offensive will score more than 160 points for the season.
By far. I think the entire 2018 draft should be on Offense. No QB, terrible OL, marginal RBs, and no name WRs. Oh yeah, do we have a TE?
