Anyone know if the Green and White scrimmage will have radio coverage? I do remember one year listening to it one year.
I get the feeling like he'll be a key player for us. I've never had a player that I couldn't stand become a player I liked so fast. His improvement over the year last season was drastic. By the end of the season, he was playing like a decent #2. If Claiborne stays healthy, we could actually have a good CB tandem with solid safety play.
There was a quote from a reporter on Elijah, and how he burned Demario Davis on a wheel route. Don't think that will be the first time the jets will see that route run against Demario. Burris initial problem was his propensity for being too physical with WRs as he is a big CB and getting flagged, he showed a lot of potential, glad he has been able to clean things up a bit.
I kinda have a feeling of what TB is going to do with the QB situation, so I'm a little bummed out. However I want to see real football, hence the reason for not wanting to get too high or low on the news coming out of TC.
Why did you dislike him so much? He was only a 5th round pick and showed some potential early. I wasn't expecting that much from him initially, but soon had some hope that he could develop.
McCown may start the season, but if Hack is worth a damn Bowles will play him at some point..I believe. If they don't think he's any good they'll play McCown and draft a QB early. I think we'll be able to tell, and know, about Hack from watching the pre-season games.
If the oline looks like swiss cheese then McCown absolutely should play. Only put Hack in if he's going to be relatively safe back there.
If he shows he can play in the preseason I have no problem with that, I agree. They'll be shit storm either way tho, of course. I just wanna see him play in these games, and duck for cover afterwards, lol.

Man that wheel route is still killing Davis. I remember the Eagles just playing Madden on the Jets between Matthews and Sprouls.
I don't know if I hate Badway or T-Bomb more - actually, I can't hate Badway or T-Bomb more than Idzik. Unlike the other two, Idzik actually had a franchise QB that fell right in his lap - and he discarded it. That's just inexcusable. To me at least.
I sure hope Burris and Claiborne can lock down the starting CB spots. I can't take Buster " Penalty Is My Middle Name" Skrine on the outside. Now Skrine in the slot will work but that is one expensive 3rd down CB.
