Looks like our old friend....Demario Davis is coming back in return!

A pick is coming with Davis, not sure yet what round.

Love this fan base. All you do is bitch and moan about how bad Calvin Pryor has been and then you want him traded for something worthwhile? Why would the Browns give up any kind of decent asset for a guy that has been terrible for two years and is entering free agency?

I don't care about what came back in return. I care that we are full speed ahead with if youth movement and looking towards the future. Pryor was going to be gone after this year no matter what, you might as well cut your losses and move on.

Slow offseason news. Glad to see Pryor gone though and more dead weight off the roster.

    Not even a 6th rounder?

We need more picks more than anything right now, hoping we don't end up trading Richardson to get Jeremy Kerley back....

Davis +dp > Pryor. Davis can play olb in a 4-3. Actually maybe better than ilb. Nothing to hate about this deal, even without knowing what pick we got

Edit, the draft pick might not be real, if not, it's a meh deal.

We didn't get any draft pick. Again, why would the Browns give up anything worthwhile for a guy that has been bad for two years and entering free agency?

Davis was terrible. We aren't gaining or losing anything here.

I think if we cut Davis we end up saving $1.6 mil. He's got no guaranteed money on his deal so there's no cap hit if we cut him.

I think him not even showing up to OTAs and then declining to speak about it said a lot. You'd think a guy would feel pressured by two new guys coming in looking to take his job. Instead he folded.

    Shit for Shit.

That being said, this means they like the new safeties as starters. Especially Maye.

I didn't say I wanted to cut him... I'm just pointing out that we did gain something in this trade if we choose to do so.
