When was the last time you heard your favorite news channels mention the KKK or David Duke. My guess is before the election. It was one big lie, which did not work, and nothing else. Not enough such terrorist acts in the USA for you to consider it a threat? Well, that's because we haven't imported them anywhere close to the European numbers percentage wise.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility in the latest assault, many of whose victims were children according to the Egyptian health ministry. Yet it bore all the hallmarks of the Islamic State, which in the past six months has despatched suicide bombers into crowded Sunday services in three cities, and caused an entire community in northern Sinai to flee their homes in panic.
I called it that something was going to happen between Palm Sunday and Easter, and I wasn't wrong. I have an Egyptian-American friend, who still has a ton of family in Egypt. His immediate and extended family here are moderate. He left the faith about 8 years ago. No longer a Muslim. Trust me, it makes for fascinating conversation. I felt really sad for him, because it was a tortuous decision with some not so pretty repercussions (friends, family). Some of them have come around to embracing him again, others lost forever. He just couldn't reconcile or ignore what bothered him and couldn't weed out what offended him. Some of us are experts at that, some of us not so much. Eh, everyone has their own personal journey, but he was very intellectually honest about it as it pertained to his own life. We need more of that last part when it comes to organized religion, period.
I know that politics are no longer allowed (gay), but seeing as this thread is still open, I just wanted to mention something absolutely horrendous. Two Scandinavian female tourists/hikers beaten, raped, and beheaded in Morocco by three radicalized Islamic turds. There is a video out there that I will never, ever, on my life search for or watch, but one of the victims reportedly cries for her mother while her head is being sawed off with a machete as she's drowning in her own blood. Then, her head is tossed. The descriptions/comments by those who HAVE seen the video is absolute nightmare fuel. Of course some major news outlets were trying to downplay it originally and said they were stabbed. Uh, they weren't stabbed, and the video has been confirmed as real. Morocco is on it, and it is being called an act of terrorism the world over. The suspects are on the run, and I've no doubt they'll be apprehended and made an example of. Lock them up and throw away the key. Chalk up another one for the religion of peace. I won't post any links, do your own horrific search. The fringe element of Islam is a very serious and apparently insoluble problem. That being said, feel free to lock.
