It has always been fashionable to beat up on the Jets in the media. Everybody knows this. They love the woeful Jets narrative and love those Just End The Season paper bag crowd shots. Top to bottom I'm not sure how the Jets are definitively worse than the Browns, Jaguars, Bears Chargers, Rams or 49ers. Or the Bills for that matter, who we beat twice last year. The defense will be too good for us to be the worst team in the league. If somehow Petty or Hack surprise, we definitely won't be the worst team in the league. Whatever. Locker room material. Peter King (aka Norm from Cheers) knows no more about the 2017 Jets than you or I. Making these predictions in May is asinine. Especially when you consider how injury driven the league can be, and how often we've had quality teams lose their QB's and crater down.

Lol@Norm. Rankings never stick .. too much can happen during the course of a season. Half of the leagues teams are usually either 3 games better or 3 games worse than expected.
There is really nothing to write home about here. We've now moved on from veterans such as Fitzpatrick, Gilchrist, Brandon Marshall, Revis & Mangold. We're coming off a 5-11 season. Dead last within our own AFC East division. Josh McCown has a career losing record of 18-42 (2-20 over the past 3 seasons). We have no idea what we truly have in Petty and/or Hackenberg. Forte is getting older. Decker is coming back from injury. We're now a young team. Very young. Etc. The Jets of 2017 are expected to lose (throughout the eyes of the media). It is what it is. As a fan base we must accept these types of articles and understand why so called experts predict doom & gloom. At the end of the day it's up to our players & coaching staff to prove these people wrong and earn respect. It's really as simple as that.

Shit, I just posted it - King's the one with the message. And if it's not him it's everyone's favorite, Mehta, or Cimini or Costello or...you name it. When there are 32 babies in the nursery does it really matter if your kid is the absolute ugliest or only the third ugliest? Why blame it on the baby photographer?
King is a bigger douche & elitist than even Manish is. He's 100% a Patriot fan boy & one of the prime Jets haters. He's gotten awfully creative over the years to make the Jets seem hopeless. Definitely on the list of people to stick it to if the Jets ever solve the riddle. I concur to the notion that him trashing the Jets can only mean Green pastures.

Our qb situation alone absolutely puts us in the bottom 5 teams in the league. This is not even worth a debate. Us, SF, LA, CHI and Cle have dumpster fires at that position. So before a game is played we are a bottom 5 team. He has us last. Who cares? If you have a nut in your head you should have us in the bottom 5 as well. The debate lies in will petty or hack prove better than what they appear to be now. If they are better we probably wont be a bottom 5 team. But the same goes for goff, brock o (kessler) , mitch, and hoyer. If we get anywhere near the qb play we got last year which at this point certainly is possible. We are probably the worst team in the league.
