WWE Staff Forced To Shoot Aggressive Wrestler... https://www.yahoo.com/news/m/e2959e6a-0a23-3381-92a6-b9758b899e91/ss_wwe-staff-forced-to-shoot.html.
I thought your original reaction of "Please tell me it's not true" was classic, didn't reply in time to catch it though.
Cuz Yahoo was dumb enough to copy a fucking onion article. So I saw Yahoo as the source and got nervous.
I don't think that's something to joke about, especially without warning. Bad shit happens in the wrestling world, and Show is so universally loved.
Cmon, I included this quote figuring it was easily identified as farce, "were forced to kill one of their own stars Friday when a 7-year-old boy wandered into the steel cage enclosure of an aggressive wrestler"
Could be a live show, and could have been set off by something. Look at the great shape he's in now, it's not out of this world to think he's taken something that could fuck with his emotional state.
As a kid throughout my childhood days of the late 80's and 90's i grew up watching the likes of Hulk Hogan, Rick Flair, Shawn Michaels, the Hart brothers, the Undertaker, the Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man Randy Savage, Andre the Giant, Sid Vicious, Yokozuna, Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat, Jake the Snake, British Bulldog, Sgt Slaughter, Big Boss Man, The Honky Tonk Man, Bam Bam Bigelow, Jerry The King Lawler, Tatanka, Lex Luger, Mick Foley, Sting, Mr. Perfect, Junkyard Dog, Goldust, 1-2-3 Kidd and then later on it was Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Rock, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Goldberg, Big Show, Mark Henry, D'Lo Brown, Diamond Dallas Page, Ken Shamrock, Rey Mysterio Jr, Eddie Gurrero, Kane, Chris Jericho, Edge, Booker-T, Chris Benoit, the Hardy brothers, Kevin Nash, D-X and NWO vs. The Wolfpack etc. Maybe it's because i was a lot younger back then with more of an imagination but that's when the WWF & WCW was fun for me to watch with my two older sisters growing up. My wife watches with my daughter who's now 6 years of age from time to time, and every time I've tried to watch it with them... i just could not force myself to enjoy it. I remember telling myself that they just don't make them like they used to. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. But it just seems watered down to me these days.
It most definitely is watered down now. It's a corporate company with sponsors, so they can't do anything too provocative.
