yup a good and experienced player and i always heard he's a high character guy. his only issue is staying healthy. but we took a chance on clayborne so why not? the 2 rookie CBs we drafted will need a few years to see if they can play and shields can be the stop gap and teach all the young CBs we have

I understand your stance on 1,2 and 4 but remember we all want hack to start. (or at least petty) we need to help the young QB who plays for us barnidge could be a huge help not only as a reliable pass catcher in the middle but also as a blocker

I guess on a 1 year deal it might work out but this year should be all about seeing what they have for the future. If they did, I would hope they would use him in a limited capacity to help Hack get comfortable and cycle in the young TEs.

yeah 1 year is fine by me. legget isn't going to be ready to make an impact (and probably won't be a good blocker). ASJ is out 1 game and an injury risk and not the best blocker. Even for his blocking alone to protect the QB and help the run game barnidge is worth it. Hack will never develop if he's getting sacked 6 times a game
