I didn't think there was a fighting chance that Jamal Adams would still be on the board for N.Y at #6. Felt good to see & hear the football world raving about the Jets draft selection of Adams. Also loved his raw emotion on draft night. Only time will tell but in my opinion Myles Garrett, Leonard Fournette & Jamal Adams were the 3 best overall players heading into this years NFL draft. I'm just glad we landed one of these true blue chip prospects. When John Gruden, a QB lover, consideres a Safety in Adams as the best overall talent within a draft class; that's saying something. I think we just landed a special kid on and off the field. I like the idea of Williams, Lee & Adams leading this defense moving forward.
This topic deserves a well deserved bump. Watching Adams play yesterday was amazing. Some facts on yesterday's game: Jamal Adams spent 21 snaps at LB, 17 snaps as an edge defender, 16 snaps as a safety, and three snaps as a CB. Loved the one play where they lined Julius Thomas out wide and Adams was right there to stop the pass. His versatility has just been amazing. Going to be a great player for the Jets for many years.
