So they were pounded by us, put Chris Neil in and became stronger than us? WE were outhustled and outcoached, not to mention the fuckin' PP
The Rangers outplayed them throughout most of the series. The break downs at the end of games 1,2,5 did the Rangers in. In the end the Sens won but I wouldn't call them the better team. Whoever comes out of Pit/Was will probably sweep/5 games at most take out the Sens
Let's Review: Players who sucked more than Kreider this post-season: Stepan I think I have made my feelings clear on this one Lundqvist What color is the sky in your world? Miller True Hayes True Staal I am going to give Staal a break here. Being paired with Holden, he had to play two defensive positions at once Holden True - He was terribel Smith - He and Skjei were our best defensive pair
cut it out, the yankees were a monster. a powerhouse team that had more titles in back of them and in front coming to them. not a good analogy. the rangers just aren't that good. they've been suspect all year. they lost 8 in a row at home to end the season. what the fuck is that? i cant believe they got by montreal. i had no expectations of them doing so. with that said, these bums actually overachieved haa haa
I'm sure it's the same with all sports fans but it does seem like New York sports fans in particular blame the coaching first and foremost at the first sign of adversity. If there is someone to blame for this series look no further than the shining knight protecting the nets as he was horrible.
he wasnt nearly as sharp as he was against montreal, thats a fact but he gets a pass from me as he's 85% of the reason the rangers get anywhere at all every year. his window has been closing for a few seasons now and he has been wasted and hung out to dry. i blame giving up many 2 goal and last 2 minute leads just as much on the guys in front of him as i do him. you're right he wasnt good at all in this series. happens to everyone though.
I disagree. Sure, he isn't a Vezina candidate anymore, but he played more than well enough to win this series with a competent team in front of him.
I always like Mike Sullivan when he was on the Rangers. Sad he never got a shot with us. Now he is changing the penguins around and easily a big factor in their success
