So I watch the Jets play Cleveland today. Saw our old QB Fitzpatrick beat our current QB. McCown as usual not impressive. Its gonna be a long season. The things to watch this season will be how our new offensive coordinator playcalling flows. Also the development of the WR corp.

I was at this game. At halftime I was standing next in line for the urinal among drunk Browns fans. As me and my enlarged bladder are waiting, I cant help but notice how downtrodden everyone is even though they had ( if I remember correctly) a 13 point lead. Cleveland fans come in yelling "The Browns are going to blow it!" and "Just watch, we'll still lose!" Then, all of a sudden the Brown fan pissing directly in front of me as I'm in line, turns with his dick hanging out his jeans and yells out loud: "YEAH, fucking McCown's going to FUCK up some how!" Bro and his dick were indeed right. Unfortunately for me, this year, as McCown fucks up for us, I'll be reminded of this lovely memory and that image of a Browns fan exposing himself.
He's merely 4-5 game stop gap unless Hack/Petty can't beat him out...or an injury scenario. If neither can beat him out..well that makes the decision to cut bait on both that much easier & we're looking at a drastic change behind center in 2018. If one of them beats him out..he's an ideal back-up who can be a fine sideline mentor/class room presence as well as a reliable stop gap should an injury occur. I guess if the point is that we are going yet another season w.o a clear cut #1...I concur...but from a wider scope Mccown is what he is & really shouldn't be something to gripe over. If he starts...we win 5 games at the very most and likely have a top 10 pick...if he loses to one of the youngsters...it's the optimal scenario: Not only do we potentially have the answer to the 45 year riddle..but we can rest well knowing our "guy" earned the job the right way(Vital for locker room pecking order/leadership)...and have a quality vet presence if called upon.
Please enlighten us, Obi Wan. Tell us the exact record the Jets will have and then the next coach of the Jets.
I would wait till we actually hear an announcement that McCown is starting to get bent out of shape. The Jets didn't draft a young QB, despite being able to, because they see Hack and/or petty as the future. I just cannot see how McCown is the center piece at QB this year. He may start a few games, but I think that's probably not gonna happen either. I think Hack is the Jets starter week 1.
I hope they have been hiding Hack and he earns the job, goes out there, and lights it up with this new, young receiving corps.. ........now back to Jet fan reality....
