I keep seeing NC whining about how he doesn't see information. Somebody that's not on his vaunted ignore list needs to tell him that his grandmother is censoring his internet. Whoops, sorry, I meant his "landlord that limits his internet" or whatever he calls it. Fucking dude is a waste of bandwidth.
This kid has a friggen cannon. He's pretty sloppy otherwise but he throws a hell of a deep ball judging by this 13 minutes of tape at least.
Evans had a 63 MPH throw at his pro day. Kid got an arm, he's 6'1 on paper...So that means he's 5'11.
Ha, does look similar on a side note...... what's with all these schools trying to copy Oregon with all the random rotating uniforms? I can hardly tell what team I'm watching these days
This is the list nj.com had as of a few minutes ago: QUARTERBACKS Dane Evans, QB, Tulsa [Tryout] RUNNING BACKS Anthony Firkser, RB/FB, Harvard RECEIVERS AND TIGHT ENDS Brisly Estime, WR/RET, Syracuse Gabe Marks, WR, Washington State OFFENSIVE LINEMEN Javarius Leamon, OT, South Carolina State DEFENSIVE LINEMEN Jareid Combs, DE, North Texas Patrick Gamble, DT, Georgia Tech Rashad Dillard, DE, Troy [Tryout] LINEBACKERS Connor Harris, ILB, Lindenwood Austin Calitro, ILB, Villanova DEFENSIVE BACKS Xavier Coleman, CB, Portland State I don't watch any college football, and I don't know any of these guys. I'll guess we'll see who is left after camp.
Wow Firsker seems like a good pickup particularly for a team without a FB that was actively trying to sign one during Pro FA. I'm not sure how well he blocks but he's an accomplished receiver. Just last year alone he had 45-702-7 and only 1 fumble in his career.
I have to think that maybe the Jets changed their minds about using a FB since they have only signed one, the kid from Harvard. I would have thought that they'd have signed at least 2-3 as UDFAs for competition.
“[Firkser] is the most gifted of all the receivers we’ve had who have played tight end.” The other Harvard TEs now in the NFL include Juszczyk (the highest paid FB in the NFL), Brate (TB) and Braunecker (Chi). I'm excited to see what he can bring to the O and ST. Not saying its a given he makes the team but he has a great opportunity.
WR Brisley Estime, Syracuse http://www.nunesmagician.com/2017/4...-pr-wr-brisly-estime-orange-football-scouting CB Xavier Coleman, Portland State http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/2072036/xavier-coleman http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/xavier-coleman?id=2558794 OL Kevin Kenton, Tennessee State (tryout) http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=123846&draftyear=2017&genpos=OG LB Connor Harris, Lindenwood http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/connor-harris?id=2557852 DE/LB Rashad Dillard Troy (tryout) DE Jareid Combs, North Texas FB/TE Anthony Firkser, Harvard P Toby Baker, Arkansas (tryout) http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/toby-baker?id=2558164 OL Kevin Malloy, Albany (tryout) DE Patrick Gamble, Georgia Tech http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/patrick-gamble?id=2558778 WR Gabe Marks, Washington State http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/gabe-marks?id=2558045 QB Dane Evans, Tulsa WR Keevan Lucas, Tulsa (tryout) http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/keevan-lucas?id=2558126 RB Darius Victor, Towson (tryout) LB Ja'Boree Poole, Ole Miss (tryout) OL Javarius Leamon, South Carolina State http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/javarius-leamon?id=2558268 LB Austin Calitro, Villanova http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/austin-calitro?id=2558092 S Dylan Haines, Texas (tryout) https://www.sny.tv/jets/news/jets-undrafted-free-agent-tracker/227321592 We have 91 on the roster (if you count the draft picks) and any try-out will push others out. My best chances to stick are Coleman, Marks & Leamon
I think Firkser makes it due to pass catching ability in a west coast offense. Think Harris might as ST and backup. I think Cole Mazza a LS from Alabama was added and could make it it we want to get younger and save about 500k. Leamon PS, Coleman PS ?slot cb, Marks is a good story but numbers tight PS.
Says who? . Holy shit we signed Bryce Petty as an UDFA. This guy looks exactly like him in everything from his play style to his demeanor.
Knock me over with a feather. I never would have thought a Harvard FB would have been tough or good enough. Hopefully Firkser, will be at least close to Juszczyk in ability.
