I'd put money on Girffin getting a max contract next season.

Celtics got a break with the Rondo injury, but also played much better afterwards too. They have shown they can play as well as they did tonight for long periods, but it's been a while.

They match up real well against the Wizards. I expect wall to go off game 1, but the C's have shown if all year they can win on the road if they lose a home game.

    C's in 6.

Jazz blow out the Clippers at Staples and move on.

They did it for the most part without Gobert (13 minutes, 1 point, 4 rebounds), who was in foul trouble and also playing with a mildly sprained ankle.

Clips would be wise to move on from CP3 and Doc Rivers. Deandre Jordan probably wishes he'd signed with the Mavs.

More likely -- CP3 resigns on condition they trade for Melo. Doc Rivers stays as coach but loses role as President.

Hopefully Griffin opts in his deal for the last year and is traded for Melo.

Hopefully they get healthy and at least steal a game or 2 next round.

well we cant bring in anyone without trading those contracts... as of right now we are way over the cap.. and that's without even signing back Roberson or Taj (we'd have to make moves to even make that happen)

Oladipo making 21M Adams making 25M and Kanter making 17M along with Russ's 27M. we're not getting anything without moving those contracts and it's going to be hard finding suitors to pay these underachievers all-star money.

Presti signed them out fear of the KD thing happening again. It was just way too soon IMO to do that. He signed oladipo before he even had a good game with us! Didn't even wait to see his true value.

Blake isn't going to save us. He's made of glass and outside of his athletic ability idk if he has much going for him to get a long term deal.

If Griffin opts out the Clippers can offer him more than any other team, but if he was going to bail why stay in the West when you have to deal with the Warriors and Spurs constantly.

Go East where the balance of power is like a game of Jenga.

Blake to OKC makes too much sense.

They need a starting PF and Blake is from OKC and went to college there.

I can't believe that. I'm not watching, but I figured The Spurs should be able to control their home games.

One of the worst home playoff losses in NBA history.

I'm good. OKC can't afford Blake and I'd only want him on our team if we had a bunch of shooters around. Just adding Blake to what we have (even though the salary cap says its not possible) wouldn't help us at all.

lol imagine thinking those soft non-defensive big men in San Antonio is gonna guard Harden Lou Will and Gordon off of pick and rolls for 48 minutes a night... That's not something you can adjust to.. Pop gotta bring a whole new game plan or they are going to get ate up.. Spurs will score better next game though.

Tried to tell people about them Rockets.. they get even better when Harden sits down (top 3 defensive rating all year WHEN Harden isn't on the floor). Must be nice.

    Rockets in 6.

You didn't say anything about the series before it began, and the Spurs can rebound from this.

As for Houston, they're better defensively without Harden, obviously, but not better overall.

Just when you thought it was harder to dislike GS, they complain about playing the Jazz because of the nightlife in Utah.

    Die.
