Just saw the game-winning goal from last night. Bad luck. Not even sure how that happened.

Bad showing. Team pretty much went full zombie and then attempted to show up in the last 3 nano seconds of regulation. Boo, hiss. You can't leave it up to Lundqvist all the time and then hate on him when they lose. He's 35 and shows his age at times, but the team really hung him out to dry. It was like he was playing all by himself. Our year was 2014, but they ran out of gas. Anyway, drop the puck. I'm ready.

Yeah, fluky, but not surprising considering that the entire Rangers bench had group narcolepsy for an entire period and tried to be Captain America when it was too late.

AV's personnel decisions are nothing short of frightening. Ron Lowe/Bryan Trottier levels of incompetence in that area. Ever since his first year here when he had a ready made team for his system, he's replaced them with worse fits (FOR HIS SYSTEM) and insists on playing these type of players over far far better options. I've never seen anything quite like it on a team that is generally successful.

He's still a good coach overall though.

Meh, unless he gets us a Stanley Cup, which is something he'll never do with any team, he's not good enough. He makes the same mistakes every year and can't fix them.

Penguins will steamroll them if they survive. We all know this. Just die with some dignity

He gets you into the playoffs every year; he's been there 9 straight. It also isn't like he's Marvin Lewis in the playoffs; he's won a lot of series. The only thing he hasn't done is win the Cup, but he's been there twice and gotten to a Game 7. IMO saying Vigneault will never win the Cup is like Broncos fans who said Elway would never win a SB.

We did pretty well with Torts but I don't see anyone wanting him back.

Winning the Cup has an element of luck. Torts won a Cup with TB but he (no pun intended) caught lightning in a bottle. On the whole Vigneault is the better coach.

Vigneualt - Score a lot, give up a lot of goals
Torts - Elite defensive stats, no scoring

Just tough to score goals without giving them up all the time too.

That loss is squarely on the head coach. There is no excuse for a team to give up a goal on three separate occasions in eight games when the opposing net is empty. To me, that is a lack of preparation.

im not one to panic as a rule, and they're all must wins in my opinion, but they find themsleves in a do or die tomorrow, theyre so atrocious right now, and being on home ice escalates the worry, how bad is that? some scenario huh? i wont be surprised if they take both games though and turn this thing around, but there's just not much to be confident about at this moment. yikers was that a bust on saturday.

AV is fatally flawed, the team has to win in spite of him. Ottawa sucks so I expect the Rangers to win this series but Pittsburgh could be very ugly

They were going to crash anyways, people just blew their wad on game 6 and they're not going to pay crazy money for opening games in the second round. Thos stubhub prices are pre-fee, you're still talking a $250 get in, for round fucking 2 games 3 & 4

I think the floor is probably around $130-ish pre fee but when all the sellers drop their pants inventory evaporates and prices go up again
