There's less of a talent difference between 5th and 6th rounders vs 1st and 2nd

But this is the smart way to do it.the talent difference between a 5th and 6th rounder is not as great as the talent difference between 6 and the 20's. so whats wrong with getting the best talent you can early and then shotgun the backend and see if 3 or 4 good ones show up?

Thanks, yeah that makes sense. It's a compensatory pick, so really a 6th rounder. So the Jets really have 5-6th round picks! LOL

We got 181 and 188 for it, but gave up a 7th rounder as well.

 

The extra picks should definitely help improve STs and the depth. We've missed out on some good prospects, but hopefully each of the guys we get will help this team.
