I think Lamp will start at C day 1 Worst case, great depth at both G and C positions which we need. He'd be a steal in round 2. Webb may well be gone before our 2nd. I don't think he'd fall out of 2. I agree about potentially good CB and OLB being available
LOL I just heard that McKinley had said that Cam Newton is his favorite player and that he didn't think he could tackle him and would let him score!!!! It will be fun watching the Panthers vs the Falcons 2x this year!!!!
Lots of talent left for us to go after. That's what we should be focused on. Contrary to some here our first selection was a gift desperately needed. Yet the same folks are looking to tank for a QB next year. That s total BS in my eyes and unrealistic. I'm hoping for Hack to lighten it up and make Mac look like a genious.
**** Name McCown the starter day one of camp and don't let Hack try to play till week 8. Rebuild complete! That was easy!
Did you realize we had about 40 pass plays against us of more than 20 yards - many more than 30? Safety is the QB of the D in a pas happy league. They were horrible in the secondary. It was a huge need.
He can definitely catch and RBs can learn how to pass block atleast adequately He's one of the better playmakers and home run threats I've seen in college the last decade or so I don't think he's a can't miss or anything but he's worth the gamble at this point to me and many others
Yes, RBs can learn to block, but Cook has no desire to block and makes a half-hearted effort. NOT the kind of player we want or need on the team, I don't give a damn how fast, how talented, or how good a receiver he is. He's definitely a great receiver, a great runner and fast, but is not worth the gamble imo.
I hope Cooper Kupp doesn't go to the Pats. That kid is a small school gem and will cause match up problems galore.
Agree to disagree...lots of star RBs were never pushed to be blockers, it happens He probably won't be around when we're up next anyway
