True but there's usually some chalk at the top.this year has been crazy from the start. No o lineman at the top made it more difficult to predict also. Usually you can just pencil in a good tackle somewhere in the top 5

 

Watt or McKinley would also be good picks. No to both Anderson and Williams, especially Williams.

 

So who the hell did you want them to pick? Another QB? McCaffrey? If the Jets were going offense this year, it needed to be an OL and no OL was worth a high pick. The Jets obviously did not value the skill position players enough to pick one at 6. And you can't trade down unless someone wants to trade up. Build a team with players, not by drafting for need. In fact, the Jets have needs everywhere but DL.

 

There was just such a lack of O line talent, especially Tackle this year.
