Good pick that will certainly fix the leaking secondary very happy he fell to us and we took him.

How is the guy that was literally the best player in the draft by all accounts NOT a sexy pick? Lol.

It's not the sexy pick for your "casual" fan.. Most of us here on TGG are a little above the average fan, so we can see the absolute stud we just selected. The sexy pick to the casual fan is QB/RB/WR.

Adams' selection reminds me so much of the Leonard Williams pick. What a good feeling as a fan.

    so lets see....

...basically a decade plus of taking a defensive player in rd 1 and our defense always stinks....

yep...i see no reason to change that strategy....

....he also sounds very similar to the scrub calvin pryor who we 1. took in the 1st rd and 2. are about to dump asa(effing)p.

this kid might be a good player....problem is that our strategy is terrible, we are in an offensive league, and all of the nfl realizes that except our own dumb franchise....

....and i can care less on where any talking head lists him in their rankings....because in the realm of things, that makes zero difference....

on the plus side....he isn't a d-lineman or qb....and will most likely contribute to us cleaning house, again, from top to bottom.

I wanted O but given the state of the team we need to rebuild it the right way. Adams seems like the instinctual, physical type of player that can anchor our secondary for a long time. Real solid pick.

Jamal Adams was the safe pick, but Watson could end up haunting the Jets. Nothing casual fan about that.

I'm not an expert, but you need a strong QB to compete for the Superbowl.

I'm skeptical that Mac can scout quarterbacks. But you can't deny that he's done an impressive job in getting young, high character, versatile defenders in Leo, Lee and now Adams. Very solid core for Bowles to work with (who, as a "defensive guru", BETTER be able to work with this now solid looking young unit).

Nice player n all but this team keeps drafting defense in an offense oriented league and they wonder why they suck for so many years..

Ryan Ramczyk needs to be the target now. Or Cam Robinson. Both could be there's in the second for us. Then the best playmakers available with both thirds.

What good is a decent defense if your offense sucks balls?
