common sense. if it costs you the same to move to 10 or 12 as it does to move to 6 why wouldn't you move to 6 at the same price. my guess is mac wanted too much that was the rumor at least
the texans did not give up their 1st rounder in this draft? and KC had pick 27 originally. those picks would have not garnered a blue chip prospect
And those teams won't be looking to take a QB next year. That will make it easier for the Jets if Hack or Petty don't pan out this year.

Given Charles was still avaliable I'd say it was the right move. You're getting a guy who can captain your defense for over a decade. The Bears traded up for a guy who's probably going to make Goff look like Elway!
Yep Cleveland can take only 1 QB next year..there will be 3 good ones available barring injury..tank the big tank 2017 and the Jets will gain a top 3 spot
