http://www.ganggreennation.com/2017...believe-o-j-howard-is-an-immediate-pro-bowler sal pal saying jets believe howard is an instant pro bowler. how do you pass on that?
No doubt. Jets could have saved half their scouting budget and said F it......get us some OJ. Give him some gloves!?
That would be a sight to behold. The 1965 Jets took QB's 4 times in 7 rounds. Namath #1, Huarte #12, Schweickert #28 and Roberts #51.
Please Maccagnan give us Hooker or Lattimore if either are there. Fournette over Howard here, No QB at 6! Happy Draft Day everyone!
OJ Howard is being labeled the most complete tight end to come out in years that can step on the field day 1 and be a top tier pro. Let's not act like there are OJ Howard's hanging out all over the draft board.
Who cares about all that...a bunch of solid Tight Ends and OJ Howard is 6'6 with great hands and runs like a deer He's on a different level The idea is to stack up on elite talent and let the chips fall where they may
http://www.ganggreennation.com/2017...believe-o-j-howard-is-an-immediate-pro-bowler pro bowler from day 1. there aren't any other t.e.'s and maybe not any other players in this draft like that
I've said it all along he's the safest pick by far IMO and also has a monster ceiling in the biggest position of need There's no chance he "busts"...I think Adams is the defensive version of Howard. Both of these guys have a very high probability of being damn good with a solid shot at being great
Howard is our worst case scenario tonight and we still welcome him in with open arms if we take him. If he's picked over Hooker, Lattimore, Fournette or Adams can be questioned imo. JMO obviously which doesn't seem like prevailing thought here on draft night but TE at 6......
Congrats guys and enjoy them while they are young and little. At 42, my daughter just turned 18 years 5 days ago and will be in college next year! Time flys by FAST!!! She has been suffering by my side as a fellow Jets fan! The good and bad times you will experience and share supporting your team together are priceless!
Njoku Engram Everett Kittle Hodges Butt Leggett None might be the caliber of prospect OJ is but I don't think he's the next Gronk and the guys I listed can be had with a less valuable draft pick and become our TE of the future. There's more also which is the crazy part I'd spend like a 3rd and a 6th on the position.
Watching the red carpet on NFL Network .. Im surprised by how many of the top talents are from the Tri-state area and surrounding .. especially NJ! Jersey has produced some major talent in this draft.
@FJF http://www.ganggreennation.com/2017...believe-o-j-howard-is-an-immediate-pro-bowler Hopefully its true!
