now we have to go 3 diff places just to talk about the same thing. gameday talk was fine in the jets section.
i posted it here so ppl would see it!!! this format change blows bigtime. there should be the one place to go, like its been for the 3 years ive been checking out this site. now its all over the place....just too over thought in my opinion. now every other topic is gonna get moved here or there and nobody will get anything benificial out of changing the site like this....aside from the mods, who love to move topics....:wink:
I actually agree....it's all over the place now. I will most likely be staying the BS board from now on.
Meh. I think it's fine. It's really not that hard to figure out that gameday threads belong to the "gameday thread" section, and that Jets' news belongs in the "Jets newswire" section. Really not that confusing...
The only confusing thing seems to be gameday threads. If you are posting a thread about Chad's performance today or Mangold's performance today which one do you post in. I know there is a thread about it and I haven't read it through so I'm not sure. I just think that is the main question for people. THere really shouldn't be any new threads made in the gameday thread during the week.
That'll straighten itself out. After today's game, people rushed back to the NYJ forum. So everything before & during the game took place in the gameday forum, and afterwards went back to the NYJ forum.
My only gripe... and let me preface by saying I mostly like the changes... is that there are too many categories. You shouldn't have a whole category for one topic... it looks too cluttered on the forum index page. For example, here is what I might suggest.... Merge the following into one category: Bullshit Trash Talking History & Trivia Predictions (or eliminate this one all together, as it is pretty much unused) I would also put Buy/Sell Tickets up with the NY Jets forums, so it might actually get seen. This format is better than how it was, but I still think it can be better.
make the forums the way they were and we wouldnt have to worry about any of this. there are too many different sections that are 1 stupid, 2 clutter for the sake of clutter. like, the 'gameday' forum. what was the issue with posting where we did before? it was never an issue before, why now? and putting the buy/sell category where it would be easily seen by more people would make sense. its just ridiculous. there are way, way too many different forum sections. how about you guys use your heads and make it be sensible. maybe then you wouldnt have to waste your time moving anything. its stupid, plain and simple. sure you have people that are indifferent to it, and im sure they're the same folks who dont speak up when anything else they disagree with comes up or happens.
I think that all the new sections have been ignored mostly. I still see 60 posters in the Jets section with 3 in news and 1 in gameday.... edit: or right now there is 40 in jets and 0 in the others
