I agree with you on everything in this. Asmougah thank god he was wrong on that. He signed the deal and was out of the league two seasons later.

I agree with you on the qb approach. If you like someone and he's there take him. The Jets have been looking for a franchise qb for close to 50 years. If we pick one in the third or fourth maybe we hit lightning in a bottle and I'm fine with that. Be it Peterman or someone else.

As a free agent I'd take him. As a draft pick this team needs so much more I'd say no.

Typical Incarcerated Boob tweet, name 4 possible draft targets and 2 unnamed teams that want the Jets #6. If any of the 4 are picked by the Jets he takes credit as being right even though he would have been wrong on the other 3, if they trade out of the #6 he takes credit for being right even though Mac let it be known long ago he was amenable to trading out of 6 and the rumors of Cleveland swapping picks with the Jets has also been out for some time.

He just isn't good. Kelly is a nut case, he throws some floaters, and he has had a hard time staying healthy.

All fair criticisms sure. The only thing I'd say is that his Uncle Jim was a selfish head case at his age too and of course Kelly has flaws but I'm not saying we take him in round 1 here..

He's a stupid kid but he has 2 things that are very valuable pieces that can't be taught. A strong arm and pocket presence. As a 6th round flier you'd get a guy with comparable arm talent to the guys selected in rounds 1. If he doesn't pan out, oh well.

Josh Gordon is still suspended, if reinstated, he will get a chance to play again. Either with the Brown's or another team. I don't know how much success he will have after 2 years out of the league but I think we will find out.

He's not worth a draft pick. Maybe a UDFA but I personally wouldn't want him at all. He won't last long in the league. He has been a problem everywhere he has been. Kicked out of highschool, kicked out of Clemson, arrested, threatened to "go get his AK and spray the club" arrested for joining a fight at his brothers highshool football game last year. Had a torn ACL and an injury to his throwing wrist . Could only toss 6 passes at his pro day this month and as a result needed surgery on that wrist. No thanks and if Mac were to take him at 6, the next question should be would Glat , Heimerdinger or Hogan take over on Friday to make the day 2 and 3 picks as Mac should be fired immediately

Might as well just pick all they players with diluted urines..... probably have the best draft in years.

I can definitely see this happening, as I don't think any are rd 1 material, though I'd like them all to get selected in the first. Perhaps it would open up a few more small windows for us to select some talent that otherwise would have been unavailable.

The more Favre comparisons he receives and the more he enjoys them, the harder it will be for coaches to get him to play under control.

Incarcerated Bob sounds like a Wack Packer from the Stern Show .. Jeff The Drunk predicts the Jets will trade down into the 12-18 range and select Gaeron Conley. Hopefully Conley is cleared of his aqusations as I favor him as the CB we should select.

I wouldn't say that he isn't good. I say that he is wildly inconsistent. I've seen him play a game or two where he threw a bunch of TDs and threw for 300-400 yards, and I've seen him play games where he looked like crap. He has off the field issues. and is either a blockhead or very immature. He has talent, but imo is not worth the trouble, especially since the Jets already have two project QBs.

I hope not. That could cause the Jets to not get players they want and planned to take.

Sucks Crap .. Foster and Conley were on MY board of players I was hoping the Jets would take. I'd like to know what substance(s) were found in those diluted samples, if they were detectable, especially Fosters. As for Conley, it better be some BS a chicken head engineered in order to try and receive a payoff/payday.

If they fall past the 2nd round, Conley appears innocent, and the substance(s) found in Foster's sample is similar to what was found in Jalin Marshal's .. I say roll the dice.

I want to draft the trouble makers.

For a team devoid of talent Foster, Mixon, and Conley would be a nice core to build around.
