I agree on you with pretty much all of this. Only disagreement I have is with Peterman. I just don't see much upside with him. I kinda feel like with him at best he is an average starting QB in the Andy Dalton/ Alex Smith mold. I either want a stud franchise QB or keep looking for one. I know most probably don't agree but to me I would rather have no QB than a QB just good enough to occupy the position for years but not good enough to win anything substantial with.

If your assessment of Peterman is correct, I agree with you. I want a true FQB who can win a SB, not manage to simply get them to the playoffs and then lose. This is why I want Mahomes - some risk, but big potential. I disagree about Peterman being average, but I could be wrong

At this point in my Jets fan "career", I want them to "Go big, or go home", or more specifically, "Go big AND go maHOMES".

I follow the draft very closely but am the first to admit I am no expert. I certainly can be wrong on Peterman but just don't see the upside I'd like from our next QB.

Agree fully on Mahomes, if he hits he's gonna hit big. If he doesn't, then well we are still looking for a QB.
