I never posted my round 1 picks. I would've gone 5-3, IIRC, missing on Chicago, Minnesota, and Montreal. round 2 picks: Washington in 7 (no Letang, no Murray, plus others, and no home ice for Pittsburgh despite the second best record in the NHL) Rangers in 6 (Karlsson has two hairline fractures in his foot) St. Louis in 7 (Blues just as good, unclear when Smith and Wilson return, home ice) Anaheim in 7 (Fowler should be back, home ice, experience) vbetting: http://forums.theganggreen.com/sportsbook/2017-stanley-cup.107/
Rd 2 picks: Predators def Blues in 6 Ducks over Oilers (keep the reverse jinx going ) in 6 NYR def Ottawa in 7 Caps over PIT in 7
At NHL.com their staff is 17-4 predicting Rangers and 17-4 predicting Washington https://www.nhl.com/news/expert-picks-2017-stanley-cup-playoffs/c-289077578 ESPN has 10-1 predicting Rangers and 6-5 predicting Washington http://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/19229538/2017-stanley-cup-playoffs-second-round-predictions
That is a lot of Caps picks. Worries me! I think the Caps are better and should win, but I thought that last year too..........
Yep. You think similar to me though, that the Penguins can definitely win the series. Like you said no Letang and Murray hurts and give the Caps the best chance they will have against them, but it won't be easy.

Tortorella, Babcock and McLellan nominated for coach of the year. Should probably go to Babcock as the Leafs were expected to be one of the worst teams in the league.
Blues scored thrice on Nashville, as many goals as the Blackhawks managed in an entire series against the Predators. But St. Louis lost anyway.
Alzner and Hagelin probably out tonight. Kunitz and Pyatt game time decisions. Fiala fractured his leg last night, out for the playoffs.
Femur fracture - that is not easy to do. That sort of leg injury would typically happen in a nasty car crash. Needs all kinds of surgery and long recovery time
