Nice. I need a new Grundens Bib..... had a coupon for $20 off a $50 purchase at Gander yesterday, so I picked up a bunch of soft plastics for this spring. Originally went to get a stout spin rod for Cobia and my baitrunner 8000 but couldnt make up my mine (their selection isnt that good imo, and prob one of the reasons theyre hurting)
Been getting all my gear ready and tweaking stuff, upgrading stuff, ready to hit the sand running. There's a place right off the Belt, Sapienza, that has Pastrami as good as it gets, anywhere...Sometimes I have it for breakfast before I go fishing at night...Lol
They should be....... that last cold front dropped the ocean temps almost 10 degrees in a week, so inshore bite was slow. Should be back to normal in a week or 2. Need it to be 68+ to get into some pompano!! Of course ALL of last year I was looking for an older reputable hull with a newer motor on the back to no avail....... of course last week I saw exactly what Ive been looking for, but storm repair to my house isn't close to completion yet
Thanks stink, i'll be at Nassau sound and fort george river. like to get my daughters on the blues, good fun for them. me, I'm good just getting some salt on me

Delaware bay should be starting to churn with striper activity. gonna make it a point to get out on the sound (LI) this year . been ignoring it the last few.

thanks for the update, I'll be fishing fort George and nassau early next week. probably with dead shrimp.
Heading out Sunday. 2nd. Trip of 2017. Cod, Pollack, Ling and Blackfish. Good thing they all basically require the same type of tackle. Air temps near 70, water temps near 50. Seas 2-3'. Perfect setup. Heard smallish Stripers heading North with the big ones not far behind.
