Wow that's just sad.... and right before the game this weekend. Most of the Michigan kids probably don't remember old Bo but I'd bet they play with plenty of emotion tommorow. What is very ironic is the other day on espn.com they had a story of a band from Ohio called the Dead Schembechlers, I'd bet both the band and ESPN feel like absolute garbage as well they should.
I saw that same thing on ESPN the other day which I thought was pretty stupid and now is just weird. RIP Bo.
I became a Michigan fan when I was young. It pretty much had nothing to do with Football but the fact that I was a BIG X-Men fan. (Hey , I was young let it be), Anyway, In the Years back then Michigan was always on TV and BO was always in the middle of it.... Funny how seeing someone on TV now can just bring back some old memories of your Yute. RIP Bo.....
I am a fan of Michigan and I have a ton of respect for the Dead Schembechlers. They took their name as a Dead Kennedy's parody. (Not to mention the stage names of the band members are also punk parodies, like Bo Biafra and Bo Vicious). If you read some of the interviews with the band, you can see that have a TON of respect for both Schembechler and the Michigan program. They aren't idiots, they know that the rivalry would be no fun without them. Also, they have just announced that last night (at "The Hate Michigan Rally") was their last show under the name Dead Schembechlers. To quote the band: An incredibly classy move. It's people like them that make college football so great. They're passionate, intelligent fans, who just happen to write songs like "Chad Henne is a Motherfucking Joke".
