Looks like a potential trade down scenario? Or the Jets will just try and wait and pick him up in RD2. No way do the Jets take Harris @ 6. http://nyjetfuel.com/2017/04/03/cha...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Mizzou guys are always good, i really wish we had a pick in the 25-32 range he's gonna be gone by our 2nd
I was exactly thinking this a while back using Sheldon or Pryor as trade chips to get back into the first.
He's not a top 10 pick in this draft. It's a reach, in a trade-down / 2nd round or trade back up into the first. Imagine getting OJ Howard / Malik Hooker / Jamal Adams and Charles Harris? That's 2 solid pieces
I fail to see how that is the message. If I were an edge rusher, I would LOVE to be drafted by the Jets. I have a strong interior defensive line that can eat up blockers and open up 1 on 1 matchups for me to get sacks.
Would love Harris in Round 2. Even though his athletic limitations showed themselves at the combine, his tape shows he can do whats needed through technique and willpower over athletics. The anti-Gholston
Harris seems like he would be the player the Jets would target if they trade back from 6 or trade back into the 1st round.
If the Jets got either Hooker or Adams and Harris, yes, it would be great for the D and team as well, but not so much for the offense, and "we want offense" posters would be apoplectic! LOL
Trading up from round two into the 28-30 range for Harris would be a sneaky smart move for us. After Garret, Harris has as much upside as any pass rusher in this draft.
Eh they'll be alright once Harris gets pressure forces the QB to throw the ball prematurely only for Hooker to grab an INT and take it to the house on the way to a SB victory. Jets have visits for both today, hopefully Hooker is healthy and shows something out there.
Jets could turn Wilkerson and a conditional pick traded to the Cowboys for thier 1st (28th pick) and turn that into Charles Harris.
