We'll see. If they keep him and he plays DT and we get a comp pick that would be good; I don't know if that will be possible tho, not up on that. I wanna see him play DT. We'll see how good he is then. That D Front has not lived up to the hype for a long time and I don't think it's about who plays where.
The media is the media. The Jets are too sensitive. I wonder why we have all these unblockable D lineman yet they are essentially getting blocked. This wealth of talent that brings no profit. They should be Fearsome Foursoming teams but they don't. Are we being out schemed, out-coached?
That's all it took for you to bend over huh? After all that petty ass arguing Mo might be the better player?
I wonder if Minnesota will now be an available trade partner after the announcement that Sharrif Floyds knee injury could be career threatening . They were both drafted 2013 with approximately the same pay rate
I agree with everything you noted as I was trying to point out the same issues. Only thing is with Mo, trading him at top value. If he rebounds off of the the disappointed 2016 year, and I have a good feeling he will, don't think the Jets would be anxious to unload him. Also a good feeling that Mo and Sheldon will both do well. Should be interesting.
We're being out-where the fuck is the edge rushered-... This is so simple it's embarrassing at this point. The Jets haven't had a great edge rusher since 2005. That's through 3 straight defensive "geniuses". When that happens you have to think g-e-n-i-u-s is an alternate spelling for shortbus.
He's one more screwup away from a year off. I make that a 50/50 proposition at this point given that he couldn't hold his shit together in the clubhouse last year when the Jets imploded. Some flaws are just personality based. They're going to keep happening because the person involved is very volatile and not completely in control of the situation. None of us know what's going to happen the next time Sheldon's besty rolls into town and wants to go for a ride and then pulls out a joint and lights it up and that's just what it is.
Next to QB this has been a killer, wtf....somebody's gotta go.....cough cough Sheldon...maybe Mauldin too
In my opinion Richardson is the better player. I'm entitled to my opinion. I believe Richardson will thrive on his next team and return to being a pro bowl player. Could I be wrong ? Yes but as of now, I still think Richardson is better. Now don't you have a dick to suck instead of wasting your time here?
Yeah. I am tired of dreaming they will draft a premier pass rush hybrid LB/DL type. Every year I suggest it. I will not even think about it this year. I probably will not even watch the draft, I am so sick of this organization
If you don't have a QB and you can't get to the QB you are roadkill in today's NFL. Rex Ryan covered that up with some brilliant blitz and coverage schemes in 2009 and 2010 but everybody has film and brilliant becomes yesterday's news by dinnertime in the modern NFL. That's why Pettine got nowhere when he left the Jets. He made great contributions while he was here but their shelf life was already expired by the time he got to the next stop.
The pass rusher may be the BPA at 6. Not sure about Allen though. His scouting reports read like a misfit of some sort. 6'3" 286 and he's a pass rusher who can't stay on the field against the run because tackles manhandle him? He looks like a fireplug but instead he reads like a greyhound. Weird.
