Trade back to 12 with the Browns, who want Trubisky or Watson. Then take Mahomes at 12. Prosper.

 

I voted for Howard, would be happy with Jamal Adams & R. Foster also.

If they drafted a QB at #6, the only one I would want is Watson.

 

Only trade back unless we get another future first or a very good deal like two secon round picks etc.

Anyways, for the sake of drafting...

Trade with Browns and grab OJ or Ramcyck at 12 for the neglected OL. Mahomes would be my 3rd choice

 

Trade back if possible. If not , OJ will be a QBs best friend

 

I'd do that in a NY minute if it guaranteed the Browns picking Trubiski or Watson and removing themselves from the 2018 Darold sweepstakes (assuming Darold declares in 2018). On the other hand, what if Trubiski or Watson haven't been picked by the time the Jets and their #6 pick are on the clock and the Browns then figure one (or both) will still be available at #12 pick or (even worse) they have their eyes set on next year's QB class and are simply looking to shore up their roster with 'BPA's' in this years draft?

Trade back to 12:
1) OJ/Fournette (If available)
2) I'd take hooker/lattimore if still available at this point
3) Mike williams

Trade back further:
1) Evaluate QBs on board, if not
2) BPA

 

I selected trade back, maybe even multiple times if the opportunity presents itself. Since its such a deep draft for secondary, TE and RB I would like to get a lot of extra picks to help those units.

If we get back into the late teens or early 20s I would target the BPA between an edge rusher (Taco or Harris) or OT (Bolles).

Do you like Mahomes better than Trubisky and Watson, or is trading down a value thing?

 

I like him better than both. I also don't see anyone between 7 and 11 that will take him, so it's a free extra pick for getting the guy I wanted anyway.

 

I voted Malik hooker because i dont belive jamal adams is on the board.

I voted QB and the QB I want is Watson.

 

Except we don't have a competent QB. Would be a huge waste of the 6 pick....huge.

 

I like Mahomes, view him as a gunslinger. The guy has escapability and can throw on the run (an asset because of our OL) and from any angle. Could be Brett Favre lite.

 

I need to read up some more on Mahomes and see his interviews. He from the sound of things can be very legit

 

Trade back to 12 hopefully OJ is there. With the 2nd we get from Cleveland we grab best OL/DB as well with our 2nd pick grab whatever we did not get with Clevelands.
