Prediction: 1 year 6 million with incentives and on field clause .. could unlock another 1.5 million if he hits a certain amount of onfield game day playing time.
Bigger corners like Burris can get along fine without high end speed. He's gotta be effective jamming receivers at the line of scrimmage though, which seems to be what he's most comfortable doing. He's more Richard Sherman than Patrick Peterson in terms of playing style. NOT SAYING THAT'S WHO HE'S GOING TO BE (gotta put in the disclaimer for people who don't understand the difference between playing style and talent level), just what his style of play is like.
You changed your picture. But your Hooker love exposed you lol. Hopefully signing Claiborne will make us go offense finally in the first round. It also means no Lattimore so I'm loving this signing more and more. It does two things allow us to take a corner later and it keeps two Ohio State players away from us, win, win, win.
Everyone know you go Defense in the fist 3 rounds, trade your 4th and 5th for FAs and use 6th and 7th for Offense
It would be a mistake not to, Claiborne is injury prone and is not guaranteed to hold up. And remember the Jets play the Patriots twice and with their receivers, you need all help you can get.
Why does everyone think we won't draft Hooker cause we got Claiborne? That's like saying we won't draft a LB cause we signed a DT. One player doesn't fix the secondary. I hope we don't draft a CB at #6 overall but I do hope we pick one up esp since it's a strong class. Doesn't mean we can't draft a safety at #6 (even tho personally I hope we don't but I don't think we'll be able to trade down)
what about the broncos team that won two years ago? that team was made up basically entirely of free agents free agency is very effective if navigated correctly, but it is difficult to do
also people need to stop acting like this changes our drafting plan mac has already proved that he will go BPA. mo claibourne is a nice player, but not a guy that makes you not draft someone
Wrong. Dead wrong. We need plenty more help at the CB position. We are going BPA and that's that. It's all about how Mac has the BPA list formatted.
Solid deal, and the best part is no long term commitment. Fills the immediate need and has a high ceiling as he played excellent when healthy last year. I like it. It reduces the urgency to draft a first round corner which is the most important part.
Sorry if this caused any confusion .. somebody posted that we should play a game and guess what we think the contract will be worth
This was a guessing game someone posted & started and this is was my guess. Sorry if his caused confusion.
