loss at home, shocker. wheres all the stats? haa haa. this team can be exciting to watch at times, but as far as playoff hockey goes, my expectations are very very low. 1sgt round win at best. and that depends on who they play in the 1st round.

Rangers are considered the favorites for KHL defenseman Alexei Bereglazov. Only 22 years old, the 6’4 Russian defenseman The good news is that in his last three seasons in the KHL, Bereglazov has been developing and improving in all facets of his game. He is a big, physical, defensive defenseman who uses his size and brains to his advantage in the zone. His positioning is very good as well.
I feel like most russians consider the Rangers as the #1 option, whoever is running our overseas scouting and recruiting is nailing it. We just need to get the elite russians.
1st round knockout incoming. AV has yet to show he can adapt. The team hasn't performed for a complete 60 minute game since he's taken over. Defense is the worst it's been in ages. No creativity. Power play is God awful. Stepan still takes important draws despite being our worst center as far as faceoffs go. This roster should be performing much better but there's no push to excel.
But we all know what the Panthers are at this point..out of the hunt. Unless the Rangers tighten up on the defensive lapses and Nash actually shows up in the playoffs they are looking at a first or second round exit. Should take this game in Minnesota tonight if they can hold it together and get Vesey to keep shooting to separate Dubnyk's shoulder.
