So, our interest cannot be overstated, Steelers will not make massive offer, I think it is clear that HT will be going back to NE on lower contract.
Honestly my gut feeling is he will sign with us for 12mil a year. BB does not change his offer and seems like he pissed off a lot of his defenders by Giving Gilmore a 14mil a year contract and not rewarding them.
If 12M, I'm fine with that, but I still cannot see any scenario where he would prefer us, only if the money is much higher than Pats offering. La Canfora saying that our interest is serious, that is OK, but our offer is the only important thing here.
Because he can play less games a year for the same or more money. Maybe he's sick of playing 19 and 20 games a season.
