Every player in the NBA bitches about fouls... But somehow the Warriors stand out in doing it the most. I didn't think that was possible. If they shoot and it doesn't go it, they bitch.... If they get called for a foul, they bitch... If they don't get a charge, they bitch... If they don't get an out of bounds call, they bitch. If one of their players get dominated in a playoff series by the other team's super star, they bitch and cause shoving matches.
Haha Curry talking trash to a rookie. The guy is such a bitch, god I hate this team. Update: Karma's a bitch.
Hoping to hear some predictions from the Thunderbunnies on the forum for tonight's game... I'm thinking it will be a lopsided victory for OKC tonight. The Spurs always seem a little hobbled when Manu isn't there to run the second team against a big rival. And for some reason, they haven't had that killer instinct to take a lead over the Warriors when there is blood in the water.
I've watched every game the Spurs played this year and they are hardly rolling. I know they were without Kawhi and Aldridge last night but they fell behind by 28 points to a mostly D-league team last night. They have the ability to outlast teams but their luck is going to run out with the slow starts. The Rockets doubled them up at the end of the first the other night, but the Rockets do not play defense. That OKC house is all energy, and the Spurs don't historically play well there. I think Westbrook makes his MVP statement tonight.
I really haven't seen too many games this year, but I know the wins have been there for ya. As amazing as Westbrook has been, I just don't see how an MVP can be on a 7 seed team.
I don't get the point of a TNT picture. I'm surprised OKC won. It looks like that very well might be a first round match up.
Kawhi was coming off two monster games and did little last night. Left with an injury after he played 26 minutes. 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 turnovers.
I don't get TNT... If you don't wanna pay over 60 dollars for cable (in New England at least) and get a bunch of crap stations you don't watch, you don't get TNT. Warriors 2-4 in their last 6. I have been saying it since Curry's first MVP season.. Back then, it was at some point he is going to end this amazing shooting stretch and be a liability to his team. He had a great 2 year run no doubt, but he is regressing to his mean. But ESPN loves him so much, both of his 3's against the Celtics on a 2-9 3PT FG night were highlights, he is going to be sold as a super star until he retires. What makes him a liability is that he just jacks up contested shots in key situations... It's not going to work in the long run.
They only have a 2 game lead over the Spurs, so why would they pick that game out of all the games possible?
I think Kerr is doing it so he can actually rest his players, which he never did when they were going for the record, and so if they do lose to the Spurs they won't have the damage of losing to them with those guys in the lineup. They have had a pretty rough travel schedule during their road trip, and they can afford giving people time off.. Seems like they are willing to take the risk.
Kerr and Pop have a history, and not just as coach and player. Kind of looks like Kerr is trying to keep the playing field level, or what he perceives to be level. Either that or he's throwing a game because Kawhi is out. Then again, Steve knows Pop isn't going to sacrifice much in the next few weeks for playoff seeding, maybe he's trying to get a head start. Either way, Spurs have the edge with that roster, the Warriors depth is dogshit.
