Is it really Theriens fault that they start off like race horses out of the gate and then have a terrible mid season slump?
Habs aren't used to playing the second half of the season with a healthy goalie. Definitely bitter for Boston fans to see Julien now coach against them.
teams have fared very poorly coming out of breaks this is a list of the breaks. Some teams still haven't had theirs. https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/com...ist_of_nhl_bye_weeks/?st=izdi9j9l&sh=f44cc5d9
instead of taking advantage of the nba AS break, there are only two games tonight bizarre nhl scheduling continues some trades happening as the deadline approaches
Gotta feel for Budaj...holds the fort until Quick gets back so the Kings have a chance for a playoff push and then gets traded to a bottom feeder.

I was there! Yeah, it was a good game. The Oilers are much improved from when I last saw them live. They fly around. ALL IN. Hope it pays off.
Caps home winning streak ends at 15. The Stars played well enough for the 4-2 win. Oddly though, it was one of the most fun games I have watched the Caps play in awhile. Usually they are winning/dominating, so for Holtby to get pulled down 3-0 and the Caps to keep fighting till Dallas' empty netter at the end was nice to see.
I watched a lot of the third period and OT at Staples. Preds/Kings. Iginla tied it in the third and won it in OT. They hand out the 3 stars third star: Quick second star: Josi first star: Alec Martinez I know, the stars don't mean much, but this is mind boggling.
on the postgame they picked Iginla to interview. That makes sense. They should ask him about the stars, lol.
^ Enough to get him out of his slump. Ovechkin a goal and an assist and Washington beats the slumping Wild. The Capitals had lost 4 in a row, all by multiple goals.
Edmonton has five goals against Dallas, but McDavid has no goals, no assists, and doesn't even have a shot on goal.
